Its very annoying when people say we think shes our best friend. It diminishes her craft. We identify with her because she writes experiences in such a familiar way. She reminds us of ourselves and defending her is defending our lived experiences and feelings

Defending her against misogynist comments and plain hate is totally fine. But some swifties just take it too far when they sent death threats/hate messages to people they think(!) some songs are about.

it's because she is an incredible storyteller, a marketing genius, and a genuine funny talented person with a calming voice

Her being the music industry is not only about the sales of her albums. It’s way deeper than that. Swifties do not think she’s our best friend, we defend her because we are freaking tired of good people being torn down, especially women. We buy her albums because we are fans of her music and we go to her concerts because she’s an amazing showman as well as singer. The fact that it is so hard to grasp for so many is a sad commentary on this society. This woman is pure talent and a great human being to boot. Let’s not underplay her accomplishments and our acknowledgement of them.

A few things to mention: 1) Her kindness 2) Authenticity.... she is Taylor with everyone. 3) Ability to connect to hearts on a deep level 4) Having FUN. I've been watching a number of her "behind the scenes videos" of her music videos. OMG she is so real, so funny, so thankful and so present with people....such a lovely human being doing what she loves.

The NFL in the us made 400 million dollars just by her appearance supporting her boyfriend

What is NOT to love about Taylor Swift? She is the embodiment of talent, femininity, strength, integrity - artistically and personally, and she has been very transparent and accessible about what is happening with her through her lyrics. Her playfulness ( the smart double-meanings , extensive vocabulary, and playing Easter egg/guessing games with her fans) is uniquely hers. She is not about the machine of music, but she is very clever about how to use the machine. She is completely herself!

I’m not really a swiftie, but I gotta admit she has to be one of the busiest women in the world that I’ve ever seen.. I’m talking the equivalent of like 15 hours a day! I don’t just mean in her career, but also as simple as taking a shower every day, grooming herself, doing workout, etc.. they all add up. I think the last time she ever did “nothing” (outside of covid) was in like 2012 and 2016 once. Does she ever have a time off lol? But I’m not just here to gas her up, I gotta be fair. Her work is really just thinking of lyrics and a bunch of instruments ngl, it sounds chill enough to not feel like a busy hustle. So the term “busy” could seem misleading even though it’s true.

Taylor swift became an economic giant she brings with her an economic windfall wherever she goes and perform her concerts and the country benefits are immense 😅 it happens in Singapore in her last concert

The other side of his works is much more sophisticated than all that, his lyrics are for listening carefully and discovering details and nuances through narrative images, discovering different interpretative layers through metaphors, cultural references, juxtapocision, rhetoric and other literary resources. (many times they even require a dictionary and encyclopedia 😆) turning the listener into a true nerd, analyzing and proposing their own interpretations. That characteristic is Taylor Swift's strongest point, and it is not something that is visible to the casual public, despite having its commercial side.

But they met just before she put out the Lover Album and she's been writing songs to him and about him ever since.
