K-pop needs someone like Yoongi to call all the nonsense out and call it like it is. Yes, King.

I feel like in the first version suga is saying, if your freedom of expression is infringing on someone else’s freedom, that’s not freedom but self-indulgence, because hate causes death, so to really free yourself you need to make sure you respect other people’s freedom as much as your own.

It is to be expected. Bang chose real talents in their own passion to form a supergroup. Now each can finally blossom. A kind of artistic cluster bomb.

I actually think the mob Boss Agust D is the one in green from Daechwita who turned to the dark side and the tangerine thief chopsticks weilding Agust D is a new one who is taking over the throne with the way he turned the Boss' men against him, took his jacket, and shot him. But the crux is in the end he has to eat noodles with the same weapon he used. Oh the symbolism is amazing!! We need Actor Yoongi now!!! 🔥🔥🔥

this album's a bit of a full circle moment for me too. i actually got into agust d's music a good like 6 months or so before i'd ever heard anything by bts. spotify put 'the last' in my discover weekly playlist and the rest was history. i never looked into who agust d was though or watched any of his mvs, so when i got into bts off a friend's recommendation later on (coincidentally around the time of the d-2 release) i didn't recognize yoongi's face but i kept getting stuck on how familiar his voice sounded. the shock of finding out that bts's suga was agust d and that he'd just put out a new album, almost too much for me to take haha i'm really loving yoongi's new album though - a no-skip album for sure! and this mv!!!! you're so right landon, it's super cinematic and i just love the story behind it. to me, agust d has always been a representation of yoongi's greed vs. passion - his want to succeed in the music industry and make money vs. his want to tell his authentic story and share his music. and i love how with each album he continuously challenges that greed. and yet there's something cyclical to it. in 'daechwita,' dark-haired!yoongi confronts the greed symbolized by the blonde!yoongi who was born of 'agust d' (the mv) and 'give it to me,' and yet here in 'haeguem' that very same dark-haired!yoongi has become the symbol of greed for the newest iteration of yoongi to confront 12:05, i think both of them smoking is suppose to show the difference in their demeanor - suit!yoongi is clearly stressed and smoking in an attempt to calm down whereas the other yoongi is already calm and just taking a drag because he likes to(?) what this means - who knows! it's been 24 hours and i'm still processing haha 12:46, yoongi truly never beating the cat allegations

Wow...I just watched another reaction & the guy actually noticed that in the bathtub scene, in the background on a stand on a desk is the sword from Daechwita! Damn! Soooo many details they've put in - like the dragon embroidered on this Agust D's jacket apparently has the 5 claws showing it's a royal dragon, whereas the one on the Daechwita "King"'s costume only had 4, to show he was a fake. Mind blown 🤪.

The way I’ve come to understand it is the one with the faded scar is the black haired agust d from daewhcita. But notice the one we saw in the beginning doesn’t have one? Because it isn’t agust d. It’s just suga/yoongi (I think, this is really all interpretation😅). I’m thinking this agust d really did kill the white haired agust d from the past and now he’s grown to be in his own position of power. Abusing said power and using somewhat unsavory methods to deal with people who come against him. In a way becoming what he killed the king for being (kinda🤔😶). But here we see our suga take down this past self/agust d for good😌😎 (based on what he said, this being the last thing by agust d and the fact that it might be “hard to see him” after this song😯)
