Same here as im not down that way that time of night due to work it was only i was picking my dad up down the road and seen they only open evenings so decided on going and glad i did

It was called Alex's when we were kids around there then changed the name when the shops were modernised in the early 90s. They used to do a meal called Shied Pork which was really tasty which I've never seen anywhere else.

@@g2emedia1977 😂 sound. I didnt even know that chippy was there I havnt been down the south end for years. Is lings chippy still going because they sold fish toast and they was spot on. The last time I was down that way I stopped at Johnos for a few pies.
