I'm back with another cozy vlog! Wow, it's been awhile and oh have I been busy! It's nice to finally make a cozy vlog for you all and share what I've been up to lately. Lots have been going on at home, some good and some bad - but I'm staying positive. Todays video I am sharing some new skin care products that were gifted to me by the brand Versed and I'm so grateful to be able to try their skincare products out because I love taking care of my skin! Also, because of how busy I have been, I'm just chilling out in this vlog, being lazy, and making time to laugh because we all could use some laughter right? I hope you enjoy todays chill vlog as I help you get ready for Fall with some exploring in Homegoods as well!

hi, i had a question about water fasting! i saw one of your old videos on it and i wanted to try it out. so i had some questions if that was okay? i’m 5’2 and 140 lbs / 63 kg. i want to lose 10 pounds and maybe 20 if i manage to shed off 10 successfully! i’ve intermittent fasted before and really struggled with headaches and feeling sluggish. are there any supplements that help with this, or things to add to your water that help? and how much water should one drink for the day? can i also alternate between days, as i am a beginner? like doing 24 hour fasts alternating throughout the week? sorry for so many questions!! thank you!

Hi Faery! Thanks for stopping by and I'm happy you found my water fasting video! So the headaches you get from any fasting is withdrawals from carbs - a big sign you're starting to burn fat and you're detoxing but when it doubt, visit your doctor. It's hard to sit through it but as you fast longer, you will get used to burning fat and the headaches will pass. Your body needs at least a week to adjust! For water fasting, it's different since you're only drinking water. You will experience mood changes and feel good one day and then really tired the next. Some say chewing low calorie gum can help or drinking tea or coffee on days where you feel really funky. Taking electrolyte supplements or drinking electrolyte water is highly recommended and this is what i did on alternate days to help me feel less groggy. As for how much water to drink - I aimed for a gallon of water everyday. If you move around more, you may need more, so monitor this. If you are a beginning trying water fasting, the best way to ease your body into it without so much stress is through intermittent fasting. I did this for about a month before my water fast and it really helped. Some people, if they jump into water fasting, their body gets really stressed out and they will start to lose a bit of hair. I didn't experience this because I eased my way into it - but it can happen if you start too suddenly. If you can do intermittent fasting, you can do a water fast, just as long as you are dedicated to those reason. Best luck!

@@SarahMariLucas thank you so much!! 💕 i attempted intermittent fasting for maybe a month but didn’t notice any changes. so maybe i did it incorrectly? for clarification on the alternating days of water fasting, would it be advised for a beginner to do it? like normal portions of eating 2-3 times a day, and then water fast the next etc etc?
