Why to bind at first place
The way this film is received makes me realize that ultimately we are suckers of morality. The woman is depicted as someone who remained true to Deepak even after his death. This is what we celebrated: the restoration of morality. So basically, she knows how to indulge in someone within boundaries. On the other hand social definitions of morality creates those boundaries. However, she denies a society that creates morality. That's a philosophical crisis but not social one.

May be he is trying to say that on one hand she says she doesn't care much for the society and then again she is confining herself within moral boundaries created/defined by that same society.

May be she's not following social norms of morality by remaining loyal to her husband even after his death. It is possible that she still hasn't healed and is not ready to move on yet; just testing the waters from a distance before mustering the courage to lose her heart to love again. Everyone has a different way of coping with their loss and pain. We can't judge.

Sad day to be her date
The moment she said cheat day or moment cannot be enjoyed daily .... which clearly means she loves to live with his memories but on the same hand she is human and have her own desires too but in boundaries.. even though she would've moved on if she'll find someone but she chose to stay like that depending on that one cheat day.. maybe the writer was trying to show the unbreakable bond between the two of them, that she is okay like this only even if she has lost him... basically, for her love was enough more than her human desires...

yeah but also Chirag was lied to....he got excited about seeing a couple with different perspective on morality and marriage but the truth is Maya would never go for this cheat day if Deep was alive

Why do we cherish Living with fond memories ? It’s still Living in the Past. BTW, her Night Clothes were Less Revealing than her Evening Dress. The Director is Playing us . 😅
I Could haven't thought of a story end like this. These short films are far more impressive than bollywood 👍

Some cheat in the real sense and call it “No Cheating Done” and then there are people who call it a “Cheat Day” & are an epitome of love ❤️

Sorry but I really cannot describe this short film in just one word. I mean the message is so so deep! It's the first time ever in my life I have seen such a short film with such deep message! It's love even after loneliness. Limits even when there isn't any! No words......no words! Amazing!

I've watched this more than 100 times already and still love it man
This made me question so many things.. I mean right from the moment they start their conversation, they talk of everything we know yet we don't really acknowledge.. the society, your self, how you feel, how you make others feel, the curiosity and all other emotions.. This is so emotional... I wonder what they carry in their little hearts, people who go through loss that they didn't want to experience... Life gives us no choice to choose who we meet, or who leaves us, and who stays for what duration... Some people are busy finding someone a little close to who they lost, while some are busy finding the exact person in others... And they each lose seeing the person for what they bring to the table.
