I loved how they depicted so skillfully that all these ruins start with a forced marriage. Nitya was forced into the marriage, and as humans it's difficult to rein in emotions. She did what she did because she was a victim in her own right. On the other hand, her husband was victimized for no fault of his. And later,he hatched a plan to bring home his revenge. He was remorseless when Nitya died. It shows how circumstances shape human behaviours, and no one is absolutely right.

Whereas In actual reality in most of the cases nobody forces a woman to file false cases, a woman does that purposely and she gets benefited from it, they are so selfish and mean. They have no feelings. She easily files false cases and never gets penalized. So in most cases the culprit is the wife. But in the film it never showed that . It should have showed the real scenario.

This is common scenario in conservative families that treat marriage as extremely sacred thing and think that it is shame to be single above 25. Plus many people Iin India blame and shame women who decided to be single mothers, creating more pressure to marry, more unhappy marriages that may result like this. I agree that filing false case is a crual and unfair thing. But the lover in this case is also manipulative and guilty advising her to ruin her spouse's life like that. And there are cases when wives are really abused by in laws, in rural areas girls are not even allowed to finish schools or forced to marry soon after graduation, beaten, starved, locked in homes if they refused, despite knowing the law they simply do not know how to reacgh poluice and NGOs, where to go and to live if parents force or disown, how to find a job cause in rural areas job places are limited.

I had earlier watched it on Amazon mini tv. Watched it now for the second time. Fantabulous performance by Anirudh and Nithya (screen names) More than all liked the bgm during credits.

Yesterday only I saw it. I really loved the way, father’s role have been portrayed in this short. I’m a big big fan of short films and on a random note, I watch 20-30 short films every month without fail. But I have never seen such nice touch to father’s dismay and his relationship with his son. Although the movie is all about husband, wife and the lover but actually it also revolves around the family which suffer the lot like wife’s mother. The kind of loneliness she faces at the end is damn dramatic and painful. Shweta Basu definitely needs more mainstream roles for her finesse in acting. Overall a good project, pass my regards to the director and actors!

I think everyone is villen in this film. jise jise dekhti gayi waise waise villen change hote gaya. Nithya had courage to file fake report but not to told about lover. Vipin had courage jab usne khud ko aur nithya ko maar diya lekin sabke samne usko accept nahi kar saka. Anirudh told nithya to take revenge, and all was plaaned by anirudh. At the end what i get from the story is show courage at appropriate time, nahi tho life ko hell banne me wakt nahi lagega. Btw Good story :)

SPOILER ALERT! what occurred to me was that though the law 498a of IPC was made for the safeguard from marital violence done on women, but what seems in the movie is that ultimately, the men(the lover and the husband) are found to be pulling the strings. First, the lover pulled the string and used the wife to register a case against her own husband. Secondly, when the husband got out, he somehow was able to emotionally instigate/convince his wife to punish the lover for the "mistake" that he had done betraying her in the first place.

Damn so many things going on... From manipulation to being forced into things. This is the actual reality. The actors did a lovely job👍❤️

In INDIA this bahana of death of father or mother has become common. Papa toh 10 din bhi nahi rahenge ab is duniya karwa do beti ki kisike saath bhi shadi

What I think is, yes, the girl did wrong by putting cases on both men without even analyzing what the end result would be. And I think she just wanted a normal and healthy life in both cases. In the first case, with her lover, and in the second case, with her husband. But what she didn't think of was the consequences. First, filing a false case just because your lover said so, was a truly foolish act. She should have thought that if a "false" case is filed against her husband, meaning he is wrongly accused and his family starts suffering, then he will never be the same towards you again, which obviously came to light in the scene where police were asking for his signature. He encouraged, and himself took the advantage of her childish and innocent nature to get his revenge. Secondly, falling prey to her husband's words, she filed a case on the lover, which in return ruined his life. Now, the same story. he comes and takes revenge by directly killing her and then killing himself, thus, ending the story for once and all. Hence, the film ends with the husband getting henceforth cautious about the marriage, and asking another woman about her will, and indirectly, if she has an affair going on. Whose answer she gave in tears, indicating a big, resounding yes.

The most amazing part is every character have grey shade they all are culprit but the take away is who learn from mistakes!

This could have easily been 7-8 minutes, and much tighter and like a thriller.

Was pretty happy to see the story picturised in Gwalior as I belong to Gwalior. Secondly this was a classic example of sheer misuse of law. Instead of shield, the law is now used as weapon. The domestic violence act is more often misused. Though the girl here still remained the victim..first misleaded by her boyfriend later by her husband. Very cleverly husband took his revenge. He never intended to suicide. Only played his card infront of the police officer. Then by portraying as a gentleman very easily convinced his wife and at the end without having any guilty proceeded to marry again. And the character of lover was a classic example of boys who have affairs but wish to marry according to thier parents. Who doesn't have guts to accept before their parents but yet carry a revengeful attitude. And the girl was a typical example of how she can be befooled by anyone. The parents pressurise thier kids first and end up ruining everything.

Congratulations to the filmmakers for such a wonderful storyline. Perfect love story with twists and shocking climax...Like Nitya so many girls are fooled cz they get blinded by their lovers..just when she found sm1 who valued and deserved her....it wasn't same anymore. Anirudh's new match had tears in her eyes which gave her answer by itself...now it's upto the guys to guess her answer..

It only showed that the female was innocent and she was forced or manipulated. Whereas In actual reality in most of the cases nobody forces a woman to file false cases, a woman does that purposely and she gets benefited from it, they are so selfish and mean. They have no feelings. She easily files false cases and never gets penalized. So in most cases the culprit is the wife. But in the film it never showed that . It should have showed the real scenario. No films show that criminals are women and men are victims. They should show it.

Unfortunate to see all below comments depth!! Either they are from people from 20's-30's or so. Its serious advice in this episode. Plz chk these are Long Short Films- those have very imp message. Have any body talked or know about 498a? How dracunian it is? Its a shame and dark truth of Indian Law system. In India itself, the suicides cases for men are more than women due to such laws which is used by so called educated women and her families. So unmarried guys be aware and definitely speak to your lawyer , police friend now before marriage- what it is? Since many have seen this episode and have exposed to naked truth of our law system, must make sure and know about its effects in India. Several families have been destroyed in India due to it. Even Supreme court has thrashed this law in hands of women. And we are fighting here for women empowerment! Sorry no offense here for cultured families and women as such, BUT its bitter truth! Watch the episode again from start, you will understand. Such ladies and probably her friends or her side people who even think of misusing such laws against own family must be put in Hell not even in Jail! Several Men right associations are fighting against this law- as lots of money is being spent to system of lawmakers and police by such families and case never closes!!!!!!! Government who makes such laws need to wake up to protect families in India for sure! Do not react on my post without reading and knowing the truth!
