This is because of the english language. People who are born in other languages also use the word cheap for affordable, not for the bad quality.

you can use those two words interchangeably. its subjective to the reader whether cheap means "not good" it could also just mean, inexpensive.

Barton watch straps. They sell literally every millimeter strap, and they're all quick release. Fairly inexpensive, too.

I adore this watch but because it has 21mm lugs, and I have just short of 8" wrists, I've given up on it due to band issues.

I bought the Sun and Moon V3. I liked it more than the classic Bambino and it also has sapphire crystal. It's definitely my favourite watch.

The small seconds Bambino is actually imo better

@@franciscosantiagogonzalez7682 my dad has big wrists too and he makes big watches look normal as well. The bambino small seconds looked great on him when he tried it. You might have to change the strap because the very last hole still made the strap a bit too tight

Interesting that the VI numeral is right side up. Many roman numeral dials I see the numeral is upsidedown. Love the channel!

I've got the green gen 4. Kind of grown out of it and into Chinese brands. I'd take an affordable Sea-Gull over the Bambino. They look quite dapper.

Though not a dress watch, I prefer the seiko 5 SNXS. Classic.

Orient Symphony 4 has a sapphire crystal. Close cousin of the Bambino. 22 mm lug width.

The only reason I don't buy this one is the size is not 36-38 mm. 40mm is too large for this style of dress watch.

I love my Orient Bambino V2 so much that it has prevented me from buying another dressy watch!

This is next on my list

The only thing I dislike on the bambino’s is the water resistant label. Reminds me of my 20$ a168 and f105. Otherwise think it’s a nice watch I personally prefer gen1. Would def wear with my dress shirts.

That 21mm is a pain in the ass.

@@soldadodecristo8037 my NATO straps are 20 mm cause getting 21 mm NATO is impossible. It works, the gap is barely noticeable.

There is one with 38mm with 20mm lug width.

Affordable is more like it

Using money that grandma gave to buy this, probably one of the decision that i’ll never forget and will never sell. Eventhough it would be much better if it is in 38mm as I am realizing how important sizing to a dress watch😁

It an original design with a certain characteristic...like your wise old grandpa😅but 40mm is too large

The other downside is the crystal is a little ugly, imo. I love mine, and it's cool it's domed, but a sapphire crystal would look so much better. Mine hasnt had any scratch issues, though.

I had bought an automatic watch because of hype reason, it was a Seiko but I can't wear a watch all the time as I am working from office (even now) so it stops and I have to wind it all the time.
