I'm Catholic and I enjoyed it a great deal. Netflix should have carried it on. Its a must see for all Christians or those interested in knowing Christ
Thanks Father Byrne! I feel a little sad that the end of the series has come but at the same time, your Catholic take away helped me to feel like Cornelius (full and ready to burst). I now make the sign of the cross and say grace before every meal (even in public) and have made it to church to sit for an hour or two with the Blessed Sacrament - just being still and knowing that He is God. Thanks for your help and guidance through this series. God Bless the Washington Archdiocese and Father Bill Byrne!!!!!

I'm catholic since childhood but when i'm reading the scripture i always ask my self this question but i have not yet found the answer why is it that in Exodus 20:4-5 the scriptures warn us about bowing down to any curved images and yet in Catholic church people bow down to the statues of mother Mary and Jesus Christ

At the end of the episode where the Roman soldier tackled Peter to the ground and held the sword and pointed at him what happened after that because i really wanted to see what would happen next and that was the end of the series.
Where do we see the finale episode ???
that statue event did happen in history though not how it happened in the show the roman govoner of Judea at the time delayed the statue knowing that the Jews would rebel and would never stop fighting until they had the head of Caligula at their feet and maybe not even that would stop them so he delayed it until Herod Agrippa convinced Caligula to rescind the order

I thought Longines ( the one who plunged the spear in our Lord's side) was the first to realize he was the Son of God.And no offense as a former catholic, they add things to the Bible, like 'Ever Virgin" and pray to her to...wrong you pray to God through Jesus PERIOD !
