Changed run and start capacitor along with a new vontactor due to burnt tips on 220v side, fan and compressor still wont run but i got a low hum from the new start capacitor once power restored. Its a bryant system too. Anything i should be looking for? Windings dont appear to be higher than 5 on the high side, but figured if the compressor was bad the fan should still run . thanks

Looks like Mikey Pipes favorite capacitor failed. Just because its made in the great state of Florida doesn't mean it cannot fail. Best option is to buy a reputable brand capacitor from a reputable supply house.

MY AC IS RATED AT 220 VOLTS BURN UP T UP 2 MOTORS GOT REWIND BOUGHT A DIGITAL PROGRAMMABLE CIRCUIT BREAKER IT MEASURES AT THE EVENING HOURS 240 VOLTS REPLACED THE CONDENSER THE UNIT IS PROPERLY GROUNDED I NOTICED A LOT OF KITES N STRINGS TANGLED ON THE POLE WIRE AND DETECTED A SHORT TO GROUND NOTIFIED THE POWER CO 240 WILL THAT FRY MY AC MOTOR
