A.C.A. Allertor-125 Tornado Siren Test | Alert | Collins, IA

Ғылым және технология

Going through the old video backlog, don't mind me uploading over a year-and-a-half late haha...
After discovering that the Allertor in Collins became reliable again, Alex & I decided to get a newer video of it. Honestly, not too much to say here other than this being the last Story Co. test as an undergrad. Boy do I miss the days of having fewer responsibilities...kids, enjoy the time you have! Thanks for tuning in!

Nice! Always love Allertors, I'm glad I got to record the only remaining one here in Alabama a few years ago before Lauderdale County stopped doing audible tests.

Aren't these actually Type IIIs? I thought Type Is are like the 10/12 Port ones and maybe even some 8/12s.

See that’s what we all thought too, but the tag clearly says it’s a Type I…and thus the mystery resumes..,

@@MidwestSirenProductions Well, whoever put "Type 1" on there is freaking stupid. (I only say that cause it's freaking annoying that Allertors have too much changes just like how 500s have so many names.) This looks too much to be "Retrofitted" if you ask me. Does it say what year this unit was made?

@@Siren1000T1I’d say they swapped the horn with a Type III at some point. Type I’s usually have a shorter motor cover compared to other ones, as seen here
