James I truly believe you should make a children's album....little ones would go wild to sing along with your songs!
I cry everytime I watch these precious animals.
Hi, Everyone 😊 How can I have a bad morning when it starts with beauty, laughter, James' ironic sarcasm, and Kirsten's smile😎
This has the best version so really well done indeed, of the Pirate Song. Those guys were GREAT! Thank you so much. LOL
I hadn’t realized I had missed TWO episodes . Shame on me but imagine my delight to hear a sea shanty in the episode ! The only that would have been better would have been if you sang it James ! Perhaps when you do you do an episode of song and stories you can add a sea shanty ! Thank you for the lovely adventures !
That yellow bird searching for the perfect twig for its nest... what a PERFECT shot!!!
Awesome photography. You are so blessed to be able to have these experiences in this beautiful world. 🌍
James, re your very humid night and grumpy wife. I recommend a small Safeway usb desk fan from Clicks (1 per person in the trailer) and each a good sized power bank that will allow you to run your desk fan all night strung up in your tent or placed on the mattress next to you. Life saver!! Great show btw😀
Glad to see your snorkeling water to be MUCH better than the boat trip water!!!! Really enjoyed this adventure and also the “quick” take down of the camper- F-in-L will be proud of your sweeping efforts!
Thank you both so much for taking us along on your adventures. For some of us, it's the only way we can see such beautiful places, and we truly appreciate it. Patiently waiting on your next trip.

Great! Music is great!
Stunning
Hi James and Kirsten, thanks for taking us along for your adventures. Two lines of a song appeared in my mind. No more, just two lines, so I am unable to use them. I thought I would pass them to you. Maybe they could be of use to you. These words are yours free, gratis, no copyright claim will be made. They come from watching your morning safaris anyway. Underneath the Marula tree, Is a very dangerous place to be, Underneath the Marula tree, Something something something, fall in love with me, That is all I have. Please take them, and do not let ego reject them. Cheers, Mike in England
Snorkel face... always attractive 🤿looked like so much fun...
That was amazing. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. 😁
Hoping you are both staying safe in your travels. I saw no masks during your river tour. And, President Biden is shutting down the borders for all incoming flights from S Africa due to the new strain. I don't want you and Kirsten to get Covid!! Love the videos you are sharing with us, as always. Be well, take care, and stay safe!
Oh no! Drunken Sailor has been stuck in my head several times in the past. Now it will be again. Thanks, James. Seriously though thanks to both of you. You make me smile in troubled times
You really capture camping as it is. Lol. Music is fantastic. Really enjoying this channel. Well done!

you two crack me up
Love J & K , humor and great beat music! Turns my sullenness to a happiness. What a wonderful relief from stressful and unsuccessful attempt to schedule a vaccine appointment.
The Song reminds me of Roger Whittaker songs.
I live in NZ now and the thing I miss the most about SA is safari and camping! so being able to follow your journeys is soo awesome!! Safari Live (yes Safari Live! not wild earth) is my favorite channel but your sense of humor and the general way in which you go about things is soo satisfying to watch. Cant wait for the next one!! ps. GET A PATREON for sponsorship!

Love the new hat James. Very spiffing. Thought I saw Scuba Steve amongst that bunch of hippopotami .Looks like he has accumulated a harem. You were both lucky not to be stung by a blue bottelie ! Once again thanks for a great video.
Thank you, James and Kirsten for another wonderful adventure. Your videos get better every time, which is amazing because they have always been wonderful. It's been a while since we've seen James climbing a tree so that was fun. How difficult is is to be a passenger and not the guide? I imagine it is refreshing for you. The last shot of Kirsten is wonderful! Can't wait to see your Botswana videos. Between the two of you the photography and editing is fantastic and the music adds so much. Thanks again for taking us along on your adventures.
Beautiful
BEAUTIFUL! Love our KZN. 👌🌈🌍💞 Thought to share the story of HUBERTA the Hippo! 🦛 👉 "Huberta (initially named Hubert; the gender was discovered after death) was a hippopotamus and one of the most famous animals in South African history. In November 1928, Huberta left her waterhole in the St. Lucia Estuary in Zululand and set off on the 1,600-kilometre (1,000 mi) journey to the Eastern Cape, a journey which took her three years. In that time, Huberta became a minor celebrity in South Africa and attracted crowds wherever she went. She was initially thought to be a male and was nicknamed Hubert by the press. The first report in the press was on 23 November 1928 in the Natal Mercury and reported the appearance of a hippo in Natal. The report was accompanied by the only photograph of Huberta in life. Huberta stopped for a while at the mouth of the Mhlanga River about 15 kilometres (9 mi) north of Durban and a failed attempt was made to capture her and put her in Johannesburg Zoo. After this, she headed south to Durban where she visited a beach and a country club. Moving on to the Umgeni River, she became revered by Zulus and Xhosas alike. Finally, Huberta arrived in East London in March 1931. Despite her having been declared royal game (and thus protected) by the Natal Provincial Council, she was shot by farmers a month later. After a public outcry, the farmers were arrested and fined £25. Huberta's body was recovered and sent to a taxidermist in London. Upon her return to South Africa in 1932, she was greeted by 20,000 people and was displayed at the Amathole Museum (previously known as the Kaffrarian Museum) in King William's Town. Huberta is the subject of the children's book Hubert The Traveling Hippopotamus by Edmund Lindop and illustrated by Jane Carlson. The book was published in 1961 by Little, Brown and Company." WIKI I first read Huberta's story in Reader's Digest in the 70's.
No? This can’t be over yet? I thought we was just getting started..... Picturesque, fabulous and absolutely beautiful and wonderful it all was. And I haven’t even gotten on to describe the film crew, the writer, the production staff and the presenter yet ect ect ect.......... ⚛️☮️ 💚🐾 🌏
James, when Covid restrictions lift by you all, would you be interested in doing a guided tour? You and wife together would be the best!!

👏👏👏👏 I must say, this series has gotten better and better. Thank you Jams and Kirsten - what great teamwork! Awesome!! The sound edits have really improved dramatically! The sea-shanty with the hippos was too much. I loved every second of it. Looks like an amazing place to be. The photography is awesome. I kept worrying about the barbecue grill cover. And James in a tree! OMG how we’ve missed that! A Request: if you bring back the music series can you please, PLEASE include a sea-shanty ?

There's always something unexpected in these videos. This time two experienced wildlife experts, but themselves on a guided tour, much like what one of us amateurs might take. Lots of fun!

I wonder if James' guide had good humor. It is a beautiful area. It is alot like the wetlands of my area. Only we have no ancient animals alive still. Those weavers just seem to be everywhere. Hardy bunch they are. So wonderful to see you two taking a couple of tours guided stuff. Makes it so much nicer just to carry yourself and stuff and let other do all the other stuff so you don't have to think about that while enjoying the surroundings. Hate that it is over. I wanted more of the area. Or maybe just longer videos of you. Stay safe and hope to see you soon.
What a lovely end to the trip! Thank you again for sharing it with us!
