I appreciate villains that don't turn good and learn the error of their ways . While everyone was running away to safety because of the rain Hopper literally was set on killing flick no matter what ,he dragged him away to kill him slowly by strangling him while looking in his eyes instead of stomping on him as he was planning on earlier.

Hopper is one of my personal favorite pixar villains, he knew exactly the fear of being outnumbered thus making him and the grasshoppers be fearful and he died from his ultimate fear of birds. it scared me alot when I saw it as a kid and as an adult I see how deep A bug's life is, I hope it gets a show like monsters at work

Autographs are still a thing, but nowadays we have selfies because celebrities are more willing to do them than signing something. This is because some people take advantage of celebrities and ask for autographs so they can sell them online. So now many actors will only give you an autograph at conventions, for a price.

At work, I custom frame a bunch of people's prints, canvases, fabric pieces, jerseys, etc. and the majority of everything is signed. Yes, people still like leaving their mark on the things they create. When I've gone to conventions to get autographs, I've noticed celebrities ask, "who should I make this out to?". I guess that's one way they're trying to stop that.

This reminds me of a toy my cousin had as a kid in the 90s. It was a large replica of Flick standing on a dirt mound, and it had a motion sensor in it and Flick would start talking when it detected motion. It also had a button you could press to have him talk. My cousin would put it by his door so that it was his "security system" for when his parents were walking into his room lol

Thumper the Grasshopper is meant to be like a savage guard dog or a dog on rabies hence why he behave like a dog. In the main movie he's voiced by Frank Welker who does a lot of animal sounds in TONS of films including Abu and Rajah in Aladdin (he also voices The Cave of Wonders in the same film), the lion roars in The Lion King, Santa's Little Helper and Snowball II in The Simpsons, Slimer in The Real Ghostbusters (also voicing Ray Stantz in the series), Pegasus in Hercules, Totoro and Catbus in the Disney dub of My Neighbor Totoro, just to name a few. He also voices characters like Scooby Doo (since the 2000's and still does today) and Freddy Jones (one of the first roles in his career) in Scooby Doo series and movies, Baby Kermit in Muppet Babies, Gogo Doo in Tiny Toon Adventures, Bigtime and Baggie of The Beagle Boys in DuckTales and more.

First of all, I rewatched this film a little over a year ago, and I think I like a little more now than I did back then. I felt like the jokes were really hilarious, especially the keester one. Also, I was surprised to find that Flik, and Atta’s love relationship to be kind of similar to someone like Aladdin, or Jasmine’s or someone like that. I mean talk about how Flik, and Atta seem to be under a lot of pressure, for different reasons, and they seem to understand where each other is coming from, especially Flik understanding Atta’s point of view. Oh, and I was surprised to find the voice cast to be very well known, particularly with Denis Leary, David Hyde Pierce, and some of them. Anyway, great reaction once again!

Oh your wrong about autographs. For celebrities that you just casually meet on the street, a selfie is quick and easy, and something to post on social media. However if you are carrying pen and paper people still ask for one. Autographs can also have a lot of value. On conventions and meet ups people line up for hours just to get one. Or pay at least 50 dollars for them. They haven’t died at all.

I always wondered why out of the 2 Pixar movies that were out when I was a kid, I preferred this to Toy Story. Now I think I know. This one had GIRLS. With more than two minutes of screen time. And feminism aside, I found the characters more relatable. As a kid, I was Dot. As a grownup, I'm Atta. I didn't find much in common with Woody and Buzz though I'm sure others might feel differently. So yeah, I preferred this over Toy Story.

Cicadas have a long lifespan, with different broods lasting different lengths of time, mostly as rootsap-sucking nymphs underground; 4 of their species live for 13 years, 3 others for 17 years. Ant males life a few weeks, workers live 1-3 years, and queens for as much as 30 years. Termite queens live for up to 50 years. Some beetles live up to 51 years. Grasshoppers only live about 12 months, with only the last month of life as an adult. This is the same storyline as "The 3 Amigos". No autographs anymore? You obviously haven't been to anime/comic/sci-fi/fantasy conventions, sports events, or book signings. People line up for autographs. Last two autograph signings I saw were one performance by Eric Idle and at another event Weird Al Yankovic.

With how the quality of movie sequels have been lately, I’d rather just let old classics remain as old classics.😒

If you liked the Cars Trilogy, I highly recommend watching its spin off, Planes! An excellent movie, dare I say I like it better then Cars! (Granted I'm a pilot, so there may be some bias there, but still!)

Recommend another “A Bugs Life”: “Antz” movie. Both movies released in 1998
