To be fair, he was "elite" against pretty bad teams. This season has alot of frauds who play well against already established dysfunctional teams and when it comes time to play against a better team or a better QB....alot of these "elite for a month" QB's all of a sudden disappear. Flacco was also a bit of a turnover machine in his "elite" stretch. Their D was also declining..

The man was just playing out of his mind, also he never had more interceptions than touchdowns and we were a pretty pass heavy offense prone to taking big shots because our defense could get the ball back regardless pretty easily. She also threw for over 300 yards commonly and if you actually watched the game was making elite passes. He had one bad game out of 5, just so happened to be the most important one

Horrible season, this was likely our only chance at deep playoff run for the next few years. With having Watson on contract now, we will have to let go of other guys unless we can find someone who will buy his contract out (like Broncos cough cough). I predict we will lose Myles, Chubb, and Cooper (or at least 2 of the 3) by next season to make up cap room for other players since injuries are existing in our franchise. Plus we aren't going to keep Flacco, he won't want to be a back up unless he is paid a lot which we cant do, and don't want to dedicate time to a team just for fun. It was a good run for him but his time in the NFL are VERY VERY likely over.

I really hope Flacco's success was more than just due to the window backup QBs get when there isn't much film on them with a team. I guess we will see what happens next year with the offense which is basically going to be a whole new team. The odds of Deshaun Watson being elite after basically years of not playing NFL football as a consistent starting QB are slim, but stranger things have happened I guess. Having a season with minimal injuries is probably the number 1 priority at this point. That being said, I think if we strategically rotate our backups into the game more we can reduce injury risk and also improve the quality of our backups (if done correctly). Who knows wtf next season is going to look like though.

That game last night was brutal. From the non calls of the first half to everything falling apart in the second, but the craziest thing as a browns fan is remembering that 732% of the salary cap is on IR and there's like... Hope for the future...

In 1988, the Browns were hit with lots of injuries. Starting QB Bernie Kosar got injured and was out for the year. Backup QB Mike Pagel took over and then got injured as well. The Browns then signed a grizzled veteran named Don Strock who took them to the playoffs where they met Houston in a wild card game and Houston eliminated them as Strock had a bad game.

It really was an emotional roller coaster of a season. I was visiting my aunt's house on the Sunday of the Niners game. Her, myself and my dad got some fried chicken for lunch and then watched PJ freakin Walker beat the Niners. We were yelling and jumping up and down when they missed that FG at the end for a Browns win. And that was the last time I saw her. She had a heart attack 2 days later and passed away. She was a die hard Cleveland fan. Which is why yesterday's loss was so crushing. Joe Flacco led them and they looked like the team of destiny. And it all came crashing down. Don't ever say sports don't mean anything because I will never forget the 2023 Browns.

To be fair, there was legitimate hope. If our defense just would of been good like they were at home this season and Flacco had a better completion rate and no INTs/no literal pick 6s at least. Could of been a close game and possible CLE win. But I do agree, there were a lot of people who hoped too much with winning the SB. I was just hoping we would face ravens

There will never be another team or franchise fan base in sports that goes through the highs and lows emotionally than a Browns fan. They could of been up 45 to 14 to Texans while in victory formation and my mind would be generating scenarios where we still fk up the game and lose.
