Sonny wasn't wrong. What he was trying to get across was that in your life there are only gonna be a very small select number of people (maybe even only 1 - 5 people if you're very lucky) in your entire lifetime that are gonna truly 'care' about you deeply and seriously. The rest are our 'familiars' and we need to know the difference between the two.

I got more wisdom from this movie than I did sitting at school, if that isn't a sad fact, I don't know what it is.

My ex’s oldest was besotted with certain KZreadrs, who spends most of their airtime pushing merch, aimed at little kids, and when my stepson kept begging for stuff branded with this KZreadr, I asked him if he preferred to have a room and bed to sleep in or a branded mousepad. He asked why he couldn’t have both, because the streamer said that it was very cheap, I replied that our house isn’t cheap, water, electricity, food and petrol isn’t cheap, but ask your favorite KZreadr if they will help your mom and I pay for that

Brilliant movie ... especially the casting.

People should understand the difference between friends and acquaintances. Friends are few and far between. If you have more than one in life, you are fortunate. But when you are down and can’t do anything for anyone, that’s when the acquaintances disappear. Some people have to learn that the hard way. I know I did.

I liked this movie, good. But it was a bit woke and fantasy. Being Italian and growing up in a little Italy neighborhood in the 50/60s myself, there’s no way in hell an Italian kid would be dating a black girl. Not back then. The parents would have squashed that. And Sonny, the local mob guy lets him use his car to date her? Lol. Nice fantasy but that never would have happened. C would have gotten his ass kicked in for even thinking about it. And if you grew up back then under those circumstances, you know exactly what I mean
