Rahul Roy's Popularity after the success of Aashiquie movie was such that every youth of that era used to keep his hair like Rahul Roy. After the success of aashiqui, Rahul Roy Signed 47 Films simultaneously as a hero.
Aashiqui movie played a game changer role for Hindi Cinema in 1990. Aasiquie was a musical hit with over 20 million audio cassetts sold which is a record even today
One of the best songs ever!!!!!! Love the singer Kumar Sanu! his best song!
Still there's no one who can compete against 90s legend Kumar Sanu, the feeling in the songs sung by him is just a million times better than the rest.

Udit Narayan can!
Kumar sanu is an emotion. ❤️ I prefer you to listen to audio versions of these old songs, as in KZread videos you can't get proper audio quality
'DHEERE DHEERE SE' is a song that is everso close to my heart. This song uplifts me, and touches my heart in a million ways. Whichever mood I'm in I play this song, and I feel better. The lyrics and music composition are just stunning. The song is swoon-worthy, and captures that 'slow burn' feel. The song video however does not do justice to this song. I think it could have been so much more. But there you go. You must listen to this song with your headphones on, and without any visuals. Just let the song play. It will transport you into another world. And the entire album is just as gorgeous, and true to that late 80s and early 90s era of music making. 'AASHIQUI' is a classic album from both a lyrical and musical standpoint, and it stands the test of time, because you can enjoy this music even today. It takes you back to that timezone where life felt carefree. Do listen to 'AASHIQUI 2'. This album lived up to the original in so many ways, and that is rare. The music composers did an incredible job with this album, and it is one that has a very special place on my playlist as does 'AASHIQUI'. I'm sure you'll appreciate both albums! *This song needed to be much higher on the list - at least in the top 5. Great reaction as always! 😍
Bollywood songs from the 60's to upto 1988 had a tpyical style that is known today as Bollywood Oldies. The music industry in the 80s was booming worldwide and india was no exception to changing hindi songs. Kumar Sanu was fresh and new and unheard of, all we knew was Mukesh, Kishore kumar and M.raffi etc The way Kumar Sanu sings and the change in bollywood melody was such a huge deal, his style of singing is like Ghazal. Imagine hearing a drunk man singing the most poetic in thee most artistic and articulate manner. I am 31 today and grew up to this album thanks to my elder siblings and such but If i had one wish right now it would be to go back in time to 1990 and as a grown adult and listen to this for the first time ever and have shivers sent down my spine like my parents and uncles went through
Great review bud. Keep up the excellent work!

"Tu shayar hai " please look up to this song....pure 90s vibe..... Heart touching melody
Yo Yo Honey Sing has just butchered this track in his rendition.. This is the gold. In fact almost every song of this movie is worth listening.

Aashiqui movie established the composer duo Nadeem- Shravan, Lyricist Sameer & playback singer Kumar Sany in Hindi Cinema. Their Trio Ruled Bollywood in a way in the ' 90's
Best music album of Bollywood is of this movie For me
Love the 90s childhood nostalgia!!! ❤
Great reaction Matthew, as usual. THat Salman movie you were comparing this one to was Khamoshi (The Musical) with Manisha Koirala. She wasn't blind in the movie, though her parents were deaf and mute.
Lagendry singer Anuradha paudwal ji of this movie playback singer
The real inspiration behind the melody is COME INTO MY LIFE.
😂😂😂😂 ur hindi pronouncing is cute n funny ... can't stop laughing 🥰🥰
all songs of this movie were superhit...kumar sanu my fav singer.....movie too was superhit...
This movie did great in 1990. I was just out of college on my first job and played these songs at our rented apartment. OMG so nostalgic. Feels like yesterday. Such a lovely love story of a depressed girl and boy who were annoyed with the rest of the world due to typical circumstances.
Pls react to all the songs of Ashiqui if possible. They're very melodious and beautiful.
even now this song top charts evergreen
This song is one of my favorites. Please react to Yeh dil Deewana from movie Pardes. Definitely in bollywood top 100 songs.
This song is so popular
My fav song!
Well done Matthew!
Oh by the way... that Salman Khan film you referenced in this reaction is 'KHAMOSHI: THE MUSICAL'. Manisha Koirala is not blind, but she is the daughter of a deaf couple and secretly desires to become a singer, but she is held back because her parents rely on her help, and so the conflict ensues when she meets Salman Khan who is a singer, and encourages her to sing when he realises her hidden talent. 'KHAMOSHI: THE MUSICAL' is also a stupendous album. Simply sublime. And the film too is one that is very close to my heart. Apple TV+ film 'CODA' is inspired by 'KHAMOSHI: THE MUSICAL' whereby a teenage girl born to deaf parents desires to pursue music but is held back by her parents. I loved 'CODA', it's such a beautiful film, and more importantly, the film casted deaf actors and I think they won an Oscar for their performance. I love this so much. We need to see all kinds of people on-screen! 😍

About a professional jealousy on the intimate relationship.. and how to deal with that.. Okay, let me share a bit. The other day I watched a documentary video about a professional porn actor who marries a woman who is not a celebrity or having any other privilege. She's not jealous or feeling cheated with her husband at all because it's his profession, to make money, not to play around. To her, intimate life is intimate life, can not be mixed up with a professional life. So the key is about accepting, understanding and trusting, though many people are talking bad behind them or directly. The lesson is there shouldn't be any burdens if there's a love. Because love is letting other people grow and there's no competition in love.
💓
The total shooting of this film is in Mumbai.
Nice

no matter how many times you remake these 90's songs , never match the original ..... (90's songs jaisa level na abhi hain na future main kabhi ayega ). now a days songs also good but u can only hear it for a month or two. but these songs are evergreen
Can you please react to 'Aaj Phir jeene ki tamanna hai'? It's on no. 12th in the list of Top 100 Bollywood songs by BBC of all time.
Would you please be able to react to "bachke jane na doongi dildar" from the film prince starring, Vyjayanthimala and shammi Kapoor, the expressions in that song are so good, one of my favourites, you can also see in that song that Vyjayanthimala uses her hands to express the meaning
Nice to see your interest in Indian films. Unfortunately the films of today are not something I would greatly appreciate due to the declining morality and also declining quality. However, you choose so many old songs like this one, as I've been to your channel since long. Just love this song. Though a love-song, it's so decent in the visuals and also shows the innocence and friendships three decades ago. A cover of this made in about 2016 which I despise due to spoiling this classic, being full of materialism, product placement and scantily clad women. Also, love the way you ALWAYS do your review videos neatly and procedurally, reading the whole background and not jumping in😄👌👌 .
PLZ PLZ REACT TO SONG "LE JA LE JA LE JA MERA DIL" FROM MOVIE AN EVENING IN PARIS (1969), IT'S A STAGE SONG KIND OF ROCK N ROLL, N SHARMILA TAGORE IS LOOKING GORGEOUS IN IT..! ALSO THE SONG IS VERY NICE...
