A BRIT in The SUBURBS of TBILISI GEORGIA
Join me as we explore the suburbs of Tbilisi in Georgia.
We set out on an adventure and made our way from the suburbs to the old town of Tbilisi, with one rule, NO Technology.
Travelling as we would have some 20 years ago, I meet the locals and get directions to the old town.
We get to taste some amazing local foods and some surprisingly not-so-local foods as we end up in a most unexpected situation.
If you enjoy adventure videos from the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, then grab your vodka, some zakusky and join me as we travel from the suburbs of Tbilisi to the Old town.
Thank you to all my Patreons for your support and helping make this channel what it is!

That was amazing. Please stay in Georgia and make a lot of videos again. There are 3 lakes around Tbilisi. I bet you'll enjoy visiting Turtule lake using one of those phenomenal Soviet-era cable cars.

Hello Justin, if you are still in that neighborhood, there`s a very good bakery called "Nile", keep walking straight about 20 meters from place where you went in yard (at 18:07) and you`ll see
it was not just platform on top built on, all the balcony's in front where also added LOL :D :D :D
Another entertaining video from Justin. The information provided in Justin's series on Georgia provided a useful guide to that Caucasian country. I am planning a visit to Tbilisi early this summer, hopefully, I can find a decent flight from the UK and there will not be any political disturbances in the Georgian capital.

How come you can speak Russian? Did you learn it or are you a native Russian speaker?
how do you know russsian this good tho?
Justin, I am in Tbilisi now and what I learned is that if you don't speak Russian at least you will be lost in this place. I had a hard time to find someone that speaks English. Only English is not enough. I am glad that I had a Ukrainian friend here and she helped me a lot. We went to Batumi for 5 days and mannn...nobody speaks English there except the tourists. I would imagine they’re grumpy because you’re speaking English? Why don’t you speak Russian to them? Or would they prefer you to speak English?
@bobsayshello7112

We prefer English than automatically assuming that we speak Russian . Although older people will know Russian more cause of Soviet union. And we're grumpy cause the political situation is pretty bad right now .
@Empty_Edd
Ай бұрын
@@bobsayshello7112 that’s good to know because I know English people feel bad just going round speaking English all the time. But I imagine Georgian is a difficult language to learn? But when you try and speak the native language you can see how people appreciate it.
@bobsayshello7112
Ай бұрын
@@Empty_Edd yes. We don't really expect a foreigner to talk to us in Georgian perfectly but a simple hello ( gamarjoba ) will mean a lot . Georgian maybe be hard because of our constants but if you speak Arabic/Hebrew it will be easier ; Younger people speak English but older people will know Russian more than English.also it's good to speak to tourists cause we get to actually practice our English skills; If not use google translate ; you can get free wifi in metro and streets in Tbilisi. But people will look grumpy but most of them are not ; once again things haven't been good politically.
dont translate it anymore :D
