Thank you! :)
First impression from jumping from Part I to Part II, you look three years younger here and not older as I'd expect. Good job keeping in shape.
Thanks for the great video! It was so cool to learn more about your life and your company and how it grew and changed throughout the years!
Thanks for everything you are doing for the hobby and the community. You really stand out for transparency, something that I value maybe the most in publishers and designers. Rock on.

Thank you, Jamey, for this wonderful video! I also love looking back over the past few years! Happy 10th anniversary to Stonemaier Games! Cheers to many years to come!
This was so refreshing to watch and listen to. Your passion for bringing others joy through games just overflows out of you and it's something I strive to emulate in my local community when introducing people to the hobby.

Thank you for watching!
Love your games!! So far I I’ve got Scythe and Tapestry and couple expansions for both. They are my favorite out of all the games I do have. Competitive games are my thing
I love everything you and SM has done for not only my life, but the lives for everyone who loves and enjoys yours games. I love the fact a discord was made, and I have been very happy to have helped a tiny bit with that. Also love the diversity and inclusion bits as well. I'm all about making sure everyone is heard and supported and board games are a wonderful way to accomplish this. One thing I would love to see more of is remaking of older games like Libertalia. I truly love Libertalia The winds of galecrest. I know you have said its something your not looking to do again anytime soon, but would love to see more of this if possible. Thank you for everything you have done for SM and for everyone who loves your games. Here is for 10 more years and many more after :)

Great videos giving an insight to the history of the company and great games! Looking forward to part III in 2024/25?

I hope so! :)
Don't forget Scythe, as a full Ai digital version. I think it was first too, although not certain on that. I have had a great time on it, and keen for the expansion :) Actually we were playing it near the middle of 2020 when board game nights went online, so I think it was first :)

That's true, that was a major milestone!
Your question at 1hour and 5 mins in - what do I want to see and hope Stonemaier does? I want to you to continue producing beautiful games that are in that middle weight category! I also really hope to see some more Rolling Realms promos, I know you have a HUGE stack of them. I am wondering if you should make a new 'box' or 'standalone' expansion for all of them. It seems like there are SO SO many. I am looking forward to learning about each and everyone. My fav game happens to be Viticulture (with Tuscany and some visitor cards) and I just ordered the Print and Play formaggio exp (it's FINALLY in stock!). My wife's favorite game happens to be Wingspan (plus expansions and we upgraded a few bits). Thanks for all that you do! (and don't be too hard on whoever was cleaning the kitchen near the end, it's part of our home offices these days!)

Thanks Leif! For the foreseeable future, I think all Rolling Realms promos will be sold separately. But maybe a day will come when we'll introduce a batch in their own box.
I love learning about the history of things that I love. I think I knew about everything shared in this video, but it was nice to walk down memory lane. My question has to do with the stress of running a company such as Stonemaier. You’ve clearly had a lot of success, but I know there may be pressure to keep the momentum and quality going. How do you keep such a positive attitude and maintain your mental self-care when the pressures and challenges of wise decision-making would be too much for many people to handle?

Thanks for watching! That's a great question. As for pressure, the main sources of pressure I feel (from within myself) are to best serve the people who play our games and the people whose livelihoods depend on Stonemaier Games. I wouldn't say that self-care really plays a role in terms of how I address either of those constituents; while I don't ignore my own needs, I really try to put those people first. When that isn't going well, I try to delineate between what I can control and what I can't (but can at least communicate).
I would like to see publishers who had digital versions of their games organize more competitive play tournaments. With the World Series of Board Gaming coming up, if that becomes successful and generates a new wave of people into the hobby, then smaller scale tournaments throughout the year may be beneficial. I have participated in Acram Digital's tournaments of Istanbul and Concordia, and they have been fun to be a part of. I enjoy gaming with friends and family in person casually, but I also have a very competitive spirit and doing the tournaments digitally would allow publishers to manage them.
While Panda does a great job, I’d love to see a uniquely “USA made” board game. I think that could make for a unique component hook that I have yet to see in the board game industry. Yes, our country has flaws, as does every country. But thinking through a lens of gratitude for the areas our country has gotten things right, I love buying USA made products from good companies where I can see the difference those local jobs make in the employees lives.

Hi Jamey, a very interesting video, thanks for such an open look at your business! Also, as a Ukrainian resident, I want to thank you for your principled position re. Russian sanctions.

Thank you, Tim. I'm really sorry that Ukraine continues to suffer from this crazy assault from Russia.
Love to hear that you donated to WIRES. A great organisation for our local fauna.
Rolling Ralms was released as PnP in 2020. Published in 2021.

June: That's correct. Rolling Realms was originally a 1-page print-and-play in 2020, then we published it in 2021.
I greatly enjoy the mechanics and ideas behind Pendulum. I like playing it despite knowing how many perceived it. Real time games aren't for everybody 😄😅.
