“We have to start to treat music like theatre. Treat it in the sense where we can have people understand, visually what you doing musically.” ~ Duvone Stewart. The excerpt, extracted from The Man Behind The Music demonstrates, in his own words, the context and relevance of the relationship succinctly from a metaphorical and literal sense. Duvone is truly a musical artist extraordinaire!!! Blessings!!! 🙏🏽

2018 Renegades Arrangement, was one of the best arrangements I’ve ever heard in my almost 13 years of steel pan. And I must say, Duvone’s aim to tell his story through the song really worked. Because I didn’t know until now, that whole arrangement was for somebody that he lost. Duvone’s really a GOAT for this one.

This is also a LIVING FACTUAL EVIDENCE of the Power of a MISSION STATEMENT in all we do in Life. BTW Mr. Stewart explaining why it was done and the purpose it served the ENTIRE Orchestra bought into it and well the result speaks for itself. Fantastic historical facts❤

Somehow it is through deeply painful experiences the most beautiful creations find their way into our lives. Thank you to our ancestor Mr. Alleyne for what his life and death birthed in the life of this amazing creative being Mr. Duvone Stewart. I bow to you both with deep gratitude.

Now i understand why I'm a huge Duvone fan and a Renegades fan 4 life! I grew up on the East Dry River, Observatory street, in the early 60s. I also pushed pan for Renegades in those days and never was a fan of any other band. I also went to Nelson Street Boys when it was the vagabond school in town! This story touched my heart & soul and when I saw their finals with Year For Love, I couldn't see any thing that was close in 2018! Respect.❤

it is said that "Life imitates Art", but in this case, Art reflects Life. This interview of Life, Love, Pain, Courage, Music, and Perseverance through Pain! As I reflect on my time coming from Tobago and living with my Godmother on 16 Nelson Street, this story touched my heart. Well done to the producers for bringing this story to light. Looking forward to Part 2. Stay strong Duvonne!

It's soooo important to document these important facts for posterity. In 100 years time this will always be used for life PURPOSE.
