One of the coolest elk videos I have ever seen. Congrats, Marcus! And thanks for your honesty about getting shook up when you are getting ready to shoot at an animal. I am 61 and it still happens to me sometimes. I blew a shot at a big gobbler just two years ago because I got shook up and rushed the shot. That’s what keeps us coming back. I am happy for you and very impressed with Beau Beatty. So awesome you can have someone like him to help you. His skill really comes across, and so does his humility. Great job guys!!
I gotta give Beau props on calling out the moisture frosting over! Super over looked fact. Great video boys
That sure is some pretty country. I could just throw out a blanket on the side of a hill and watch the wildlife for days.
You guys put together the best hunting content. Even the ups and downs are exciting. Marcus I would have never guess that you shake when you shoot an animal. Congratulations on a great bull and an exciting adventure. Beau you are an inspiration to all of us. Thanks for sharing.

The first video hunting I’ve ever watched in my life on KZread where I hunt that area and know exactly where that is. I’ve walked the trail 1 million times I hunt up there for the last 30 years I know exactly where it is and where you’re going i archery and muzzleloader hunt there crazy

Sorry, I was talking into my phone and it didn’t text correctly but you get the point
The shake is ok if you can calm it when it arrives. Kinda like that first kiss from a girl when your a kid. It just is what it is. Now Randy don’t get the shakes, but it’s been a loooong time since he had that first kiss. 😂
Nice Marcus Beau you can do what ever you set your mind to great video guys 👍👍😎
Beau is the man. Marcus don’t beat yourself up to bad. You got to be good to be lucky and lucky to be good.
“Just an all-around good dude”, I think that pretty much sums up Beau Baty.
awesome seeing Beau... one of my favorite hunters to watch.
Wow, well done Marcus! I almost had a hernia waiting for you to take the second shot on that bull! Again well done!
Seemed like an awesome trip!
Such a cool video. Thank you for sharing.
Worst feeling as a hunter, knowing that you messed up and the only person to blame is yourself, but it happens to every single one of us, if you say it hasn't then you haven't hunted enough or your are lying to yourself
What a tough hunt. Great video man 🤘🏽
Great contest guys!
Great job you guys! Young stallions.
Congrats Marcus! Beau Baty is a good friend to have in the back country! The Llama GOAT man. 🤜🏻
That’s bow hunting 🏹🥩❤️💯🔥 Glad you recovered him 🙏🏽
as much crap i want to talk, its nice to see you posted a real hunt. unfortunately this is the reality of how some hunts go. its not always perfect. way to keep it real.

Soooo funny!
Dang its good to see Beau and Marcus having a blast and doing a hunt right. Excellent work guys. 👏 I'm curious guys. Have you ever taken the esophagus and larynx out of a bull elk, or moose bull for that matter and measured it for length and circumference? To get an idea of making a bugle with a deep enough tone? Some how I don't think that the commercial calls are deep enough. I don't know, you got a bull so. Excellent
Awesome video
Always enjoy your content great footage. Call me slow but I never hv time to read the captions any more than half😢 .great to c bow looking well enjoying what he does so well
Great hunt
Mr Baty is a stand up guy and someone we should all inspire to be more like!! On a side note what packs are you fellas using?

Awesome.
Ok, so how much do you guys really practice shooting your bows? Would like to see some actual other stuff related to having the skill set needed to take a shot like that. Also with the right arrow setup you shouldn't need to even worry about hitting the shoulder. I get it, heat of the moment etc but id like to see more of that out of you guys.
Gods mercy on that elk is what made him stop so you could get another arrow in him. I have been part of bad shots, and i have taken some that were not ideally placed myself. The animal, a lot of the time will suffer, which i have also been a part of, unfortunately. Give glory to God for having mercy on his suffering animals when we make a mistake. Luck is nothing. You were fortunate to be able to have a second chance on this hunt and in Jesus. Nice work getting it done and not giving up
Hell yeah bro 🎉🎉🎉🎉
With 150 days in the field a year you are not inadequate ...You want inadequate, take me, the guy that has never hunted elk from the flatlands of MN....You need to give yourself more credit Marcus. Way to go on a nice bull !

Practice Practice Practice! Can’t just be slinging arrows!
We owe it to the animals we chase to be the best we can be. I can't count how many bulls I've let walk due to not having a good clear shot or frankly, just too far. I have never taken a shot at a bull over 45 yards. Even in the open... call it lack of confidence, call it knowledge.. call it whatever. I lost 1 hit bull and that bull was shot at 12 yards! I notched my tag after that because I didn't feel right trying to shoot another. After that, it was everything I could do to even hunt again. The very next season, I let a bull walk at 40- broadside in the wide open! . I was so worried I would make a poor shot, I couldn't talk myself into letting an arrow fly. I fell the pain.
Might as well put a GoPro on the stabilizer if you’re not gonna zoom in
BEAUTIFUL ELKS
Sounds like you need to stick with shooting targets 😂
Slinging sticks at one of the toughest animals in North America is always a crap shoot..
I really enjoy watching you guys too hunt. Thank you for sharing. Question... Why don't you wear camo face masks or make up to hide your shiny faces?
Nice bull, too bad about Beau's bull.
I would have kept hunting
Interesting re-release of previous content. Talk about being catfished.

That is funny, and true, until 2 weeks ago I never knew what 'catfished' meant😂 I always respect this channel for putting up hunts that don't go according to plan, but I do worry it can also be ammunition for PETA and the like. But kudos to Marcus for that long effective arrow!
Old footage. but honest.
66 yards??? I remember when actually getting CLOSE was the name of the game with bow hunting. Not only a badge of honor, but a sign of a mature hunter who understands the inherent limitations of their equipment. Nobody is perfect, but the whole, patience is a virtue thing, is the credo of a solid hunter.
It’s unfortunate, and bad hits can happen….but 3 shots taken and all 3 are shitty hits??? 🤔
Need more responsibility... cant be shooting like that, not sure where shot goes, not sure where its hit, guessing ranges, etc...
Need some more practice. 3 terrible shots. Might be great guys but boy… that 2nd elk is lucky it didn’t suffer longer. We’ve all made bad shots. But to follow up a bad gut shot with ANOTHER bad shot?
