GoPros can also record while charging. either you just open tha charging port door or replace with a pass-through door.

Yeah, the GoPro is a great option too. Good to see that DDPAI bring in something dedicated.
Wow you managed to get one before the campaign ended 😮 thanks so much for the review! I'm a supporter of ddpai dashcams and tried few of their products but wasn't too sure about this one, mainly because I don't bike much..their campaign isn't doing too well as well which I think boils down to lack of advertising and gaining trust to a wider global community..hopefully they will work that out though

The campaign was supposed to end last week, I guess they have extended it. I really hope to see some software enhancements too ❤️
I regret not getting the gopro hero session back then and ever since been waiting for them to revive it but it seems like they're not making it ever again, it's time to maybe give this device a chance.

Make sure location services are on and that the DDPAI app has access to location.
