My poor book budget!
Yes, I loved Northern Exposure. So many great books Steve! Our First Civil War, sounds so interesting! I have only 2 books on my nonfiction tbr but I’m looking forward to both of them. 😊
Andrew Roberts and Adam Zamoyski took part in a very entertaining debate about Napoleon a few years back, it's on YT - love them both. Northern Exposure was a great show.
Keep the non-fiction TBR’s coming, especially for books already out. I love the variety of titles you suggest. Thank you!
Northern Exposure is probably my favourite show ever, an unusually bookish show. I need to get hold of that book!
Definitely going to get "The Library A Fragile History"!
Some terrific books to choose from, thanks. Looking forward to the next non-fiction TBR.
The two that caught my attention are the two books about USSR. I love being bombarded with book titles. I am eagerly awaiting the next batch. 😁
Certainly adding the Northern Exposure book to my list (along with too many others). Loved that show!
Excited about Bob Spitz's new book. I love his book on The Beatles. It is unquestionably my favorite nonfiction book. Will have to check out the American Comics book (also maybe the All the Marvels), and even though you didn't mention it, Will Smith's "autobiography", and The Library book
The Ring terrified me when I watched that movie. “Just Mercy” sounds fascinating! The show Northern Exposure was wonderful! Just beautiful! The scene! The scene! Yes!
I read the Library Book by Susan Orlean and enjoyed it very much so Library is on my list. However I didn’t like her Memoir About her father but I can’t remember the name of it. But I remember the Memoir was more of a journalistic account than a personal one. Aloha
I look forward to indulging in the nonfiction of Peter Matthiessen this fall. I discovered him earlier this year when I picked up The Snow Leopard on a whim, started reading it and couldn't stop. I just purchased a used copy of In the Spirir of Crazy Horse and am really excited about reading it!
Loved Northern Exposure!
I love music biographies! I will find that Beatles bio and this new Zeppelin one ASAP!
A very wide ranging and interesting group of books. I think I'm most interested in the Roman Egypt and the supernatural Japanese cats! I gotta have that cat book! Meooowww!😻😻😻
There goes my pay check.

Sorry! And I apologize ahead of time for the next two Nonfiction November TBR videos I'll be making!
If you are in the UK, the Kindle version of The Last King of Poland is currently £2.99.
Trinity College Library in Dublin where the Book of Kells is housed along with a few other books.
I read Dinosaurs Rediscovered after seeing it on your channel!
Who or which is your favorite comic character(s) and why?
A spry 28 year old lived through the cold war?!?!
You and Led Zepplin ... And you loved Northern Exposure too.
Is that the future Ruttenberg Library?

@@saintdonoghue You wouldn't have seen them because they would have been stuck in my foot along with the Barbie shoes and the crayons.
The Robert Lyman book 'A War of Empires' , covers just the period 1941 to 1945 and not the First World War as you said. A really interesting collection of non-fiction to look forward to for the Autumn, thankyou.
That's one of the libraries of my Alma Mater, Trinity College Dublin.
Apparently John Richardson himself is dead. Poor guy had to have that last one released posthumously I guess
I know you're not a fan of Thomas Hardy's work, but I was wondering if you had the chance to see the 2015 adaptation of "Far from the Madding Crowd." If so, what do you think of it?

@@saintdonoghue I think it was excellent. Give it a go if you have the chance.
That would the Cincinnati public library.
27:18 Actually, the current Russian regime wants to tie itself up with whatever grandiosity their nation´s past holds (even zsarist war stories or bosporan lore), "cautionary tales" about the liberalization era sold as history nonfiction are OK too.
Steve often takes liberal anti-American positions in this videos, so it will be interesting to see how he glosses over and excuses the collapse of socialism in the USSR.

A) Steve is right here; you're addressing your comments to Steve, now past Steve to others, B) Steve has never expressed an "anti-American" position on this channel, and C) hating Trumpist neoNazis is not a "liberal anti-American position."
