Well done.patience is a virtue. I've rescued a few vacuums. One had a teacup handle jammed in the hose and had backed up all the dirt. On had a broken wire where it flexed, it was an upriight, one had a filter that was so bunged up it took a while to clear. It wasn't obvious that it had a filter and it looked like you just emptied the big chamber of dust. People won't attempt to repair things these days but that's great for people like us, we save a fortune.

Drives me mental! I'm sure people are these days brought up to believe that things can't be fixed. My 'can't work won't work' who expects everything off the state cane round one day to borrow my vac. His was 'broken, doesn't work' and he threw it out. I grabbed it, checked, and it was full, and blocked with Kirby grips and glass (his flat is filthy btw) that he'd vacuumed up!

I got my Henry off a couple at the dump who were throwing him away (nearly new condition) because he stopped picking up dirt. I saved him and took him home to find the bag was FULL so I took it out and there was a spare bag in the bottom of his canister so it was a free easy fix and I still have him like 5 years later.

@@beko1987 it certainly is! I'm here today looking at replacing the brushes. Since you're here could you answer this question... after say 30mins my Henry goes on strike for a good while too cool down. It gets hot right upto the plug, any ideas if it's the brushes or something else?

Hi Sam, Phil here - I wondered why you had parked up by that house! Early last December, High Wycombe Magistrates Court granted a 3 month 'Closure Order' (a temporary eviction that prohibits entering the property) under section 80 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime & Police Act 2014. The occupants of the house were well known for anti-social behaviour and drug use. The house is still boarded up, so the Closure Order may have been extended by the Court. I think they used their back garden to process house clearance waste and rubble, this included dismantling white goods. I always saw random stuff dumped in the front garden, so I'm not surprised you found a dumped Numatic.

Great result Sam, not only has blue Henry so far cost you nothing, he also works well and sounds like he's in excellent health.

Found put about the newer ones using torx screws the other day when I got a 2017 model in - pain in the bum! Yet to find a sreet find henry - there was one a short time ago but I missed it - glad to say I missed it though as my area isn't renowned for careful owners sadly

Hello Sam. Ibasiac got me subscribed to your channel and I love it. I brought a 2015 hvr200-12 brand new from argos. I find its a great vacuum that's built to last if kept in mint condition. I look after mine and it still looks and runs like new. Keep up the great videos sir and we'll done.

Beko1987 .thanks very much.you are a nice intelligent person who brings us great content. I sure wish that people look after vacuum cleaners a lot more. In my shop we have a Henry that is 24 years old and works every day. Will watch every video you make with interest.

that's freaky I found a hetty going to the skip and it was left out in a lot of rain too with a broken tool clip and a rusty motor and a broken switch and cord got it up and running with new motor switch and cable

Luckily! Was quite pleased it was that simple. Got a handle now, need a floor tool still though, keep forgetting to look!

23:01 I'm amazed on how all those straws or those larger bits could fit in there! Although you should always use a Henry with a bag! Poor Henry!! Glad Crap Henry could deal with all the rubbish!! He must've been hungry! 😋 surprised he couldn't clean the filter! It looked dry to me!! Didn't realise it was wet!! But glad the blue Henry went to a good owner! The crack in the cuff looked NASTY!!! 🤕 but! Glad the blue Henry went to a good owner!! He must've been happy!! I saw a blue autosave Henry being chucked away years ago! But didn't pick it up! (Regrettably) but I was very young back then! The owner replaced with a 2014 HenryXtra HVX200-A2.

My garden centre got rid of a red HVR200A!! 🤣 at the time they also have a disgusting red 2011 NRV200-22. They still have the NRV20022, but they also got 3 HVR20012s one NRV20011 and one Henry200 HVR20011

Soak your filter in laundry detergent it does wonders and will make henry smell fresh....

Hi,sam i wondered why did you park up that house! I always saw stuff dumped in the front of the garden, and good find for a dumped and broken henry. How many amps is the 2015 henry hvr 200-11 and you are the best i love your vids keep it up bro thank you

you beat me to it sam. i am getting a rare numatic tomorrow. i think its either a NVC200or HVC200 from the early 80s. Perhaps this could become your work vac for refurbishing other vacs?

i paid more than i realy should have for it because i dont really know if it works or what condition it is in. im hoping it will be all ok because i intend to put it to hard use.

You could fit a twin flo in that just need the top rubber bit from the other motor

Is it advantageous to lightly lubricate the cable reel slip rings with conductive grease ? , great vid Sam👍

@@beko1987 Ok Sam, thanks for the reply, I have a tube of MG Chemicals, carbon conductive grease, (cat no° 846-80G), I used it on a tumble dryer repair over 3 years ago, and the machine is working 100% to this day. I'll try a bit on sisters work Henry, and see how it affects contact life. Cheers again Sam for all your efforts.

+Abir Chowdhury Because then I won't be able to sell it! Scrappy Henry is good, I'm amazed he's still alive at all! When the motor finally goes I'll pop a pattern one in and give him a full refurb and he can live another decade/6 months, whenever the motor burns out first!

Beko1987 Oh yeah the flower on the Henry doesn't mean it's AutoSave, it's a HiFlo Low Energy System which is different. The PCB is much more strong than the infamous AutoSave system.

It’s never the pcb in this model it’s always the plug or one of the switches that go on these models these pcbs were more reliable than the autosave pcb
