Nervousness as a new grad nurse is always expected. We were all once in that position except maybe for CNAs who go to get their RN license and come back to work in the same hospital and floor. You'll be fine with time, I promise u that. Just make sure to always ask as many questions as u have. Remember, Whenever in doubt, ASK! I wish u all the best!

Team writing down the medications so I can have a visual of what medications I may need to hold such as insulin and BP meds.

Me too, my thought process too. Plus if we ever get a down time, guess who knows what meds are due exactly when? 😉.

Writing down the meds because at my facility not all the meds are in the Pyxis :))

Don't we all just hate when this happens! I remember my previous hospital, we all had to go thru all the pyxis on the unit just to get all our patients' meds. It was so annoying.
