Fun fact: the A-10 has about the same payload capacity as a B-29... they both have a typical loadout of 12k lbs of bombs/rockets for medium range missions.

@@mrperson6963 12 thousands pounds of bombs OR rockets hence the slash. Obviously the b29 can't carry rockets but the a10 can which is why it's included.

It shows how much aviation had improved in only a few decades that this is carrying twice the bomb-load of a B-17.

War Thunder is a point and click web browser. People don't have to fly their planes, Gaijin removes any form of thought requirement from players.

Editing, skill, luck and money does that kind of thing. No one plays like phly does all the time, not even phly does.

God I can't stop looking at that A-10: "single engine desperate bombing run" the whole setting was unbelievably cinematic!

Fun fact: the a10 can carry 6 Mavericks, 2 gun pods, 4 aim9ls, 2 2000 lbs bombs, and a fully loaded p47 on top of it

I think the more painful problem is the amount of people who drive around in AA vehicles, but refuse to raise their gun higher than 10 degrees.

Cas wouldn't be a problem it is balanced out by AA, unfortunately people like to use the AA improperly.

@@generalkenobi5173 yes, and there is a problem with loadout spawn points, they make bombs really cheap and in high amounts, while rockets are expensive even though they require a lot of skill to get a tank kill they also dont consider spawn point price with the amount of bombs, they let the players take 6 bombs for the price of 1

Day 1: Phly you should try naval EC. It’s available every weekend now. The huge maps and long battle time make it much more fun than normal naval battles, especially with battleships and battlecruisers.

IMO the MBT-70 is the definition of almost fun. With the 20mm, mobility, smoke grenades, and massive auto-loading gun, it has so much potential. But with the lack of thermals and penetration, when the most common enemy you face is the T-72AV (TURMS-T), you just get killed a second before you start to have fun.

So glad you still have some of the brrrrrrt patches, just ordered one!

MBT-70 and KPz-70 are definitely my favorite in the game as well. First modern tanks, still awesome, ATGM's and 20mm turret making AA possible, they're amazing!

People talking about a full-load A10 being a brick to fly but nobody talks about the AU-1 Corsair. 🙄

Hey Phly! You should check out the Italian C13 T90! It was the vehicle that got me my phirst nuke, and I’d like to see it and the ABUL/74 (specifically the 90mm) on the channel! The combo means in any terrain you can get to a sneaky spot, and scout phor tons of SP! (Day 74) (But play the Hawk III first)

Classic streamers luck in that flank from the first battle at 6:15. Had his back turned to the spawn for almost 2 minutes, not once looking back and never got shot from behind. My ass would've been dead within 30 seconds, lol. edit: I didn't initially catch that he dropped smoke, but I'm not to top tier yet and the tanks I normally drive don't have that much smoke :(

the mbt-70 feels like playing a proper light tank, not an ifv, a light tank in the ww2 era sense where it is basically just a medium tank with less armor and a slightly weaker gun so it can move faster. also I'm pretty sure the german version of the mbt-70 still has a shorter reload

Maybe the Ground BR for planes should change depending on the loadout... higher for smart weapons, lower for dumb bombs and rockets. Maybe by pre-selecting the loadouts you want to choose from during the game.

Remember for every kill you see on a meme compilation, they died at least 10 times. I can't even begin to count how many bt5 or m22 budding memelords I've curb stomped in high tier matches. They have to pay all day to scrape together two minutes of footage where they score a kill against someone who's afk.

Hey Phly, I appreciate the cas gameplay. I watch you Phly daily. Not a fan of tank daily although tanks have grown on me. Please keep using a plane in your videos. I enjoy both aspects of WT but I like planes the most and you’re a great pilot.

I think there’s a bug for the a10 in arb I had two aa missiles two gun pods on the front line maps I could just get off the runway buy the end forget trying to turn flying brick is right but then on the normal maps it flys fine I can dogfight in it
