As someone who has played AC7 and AC5, they really messed up the BRRRRRT in AC7. If they just turned up the volume it would be 100 times better.

I could forgive the sound if the gun actually did appropriate damage. The A-10 has nothing going for it in AC7 as it is.

Assault Horizon's gun sounds are still the best in the series. I believe they reused some of them for the M61 Vulcan in AC7, albeit a little quieter than in AH

WT and old ace combat games: Brrrt AC7: brrt but in a low volume PW:I can hear the chamber switching rounds

Finally. Someone is giving love to ace combat X. And the project wingman Brrrt sounds like it could be made for dubstep, someone should make a music out of that. :D

To quote the mighty Sseth: "I love that sound, everytime i hear it, i know that someone, somewhere, has been turned into human paste". Not gonna lie, AC7 really dropped the ball when it comes to sound design, except in the soundtrack, they knocked it out of the park with that.

I really hope there will be a project wingman 2 or the next ace combat game will take some inspiration I like having 3 special weapons at once instead of just the one in AC

So the ace combat 7 brrrt does exist. In the replays, when using 360 view and zooming all the way out, you will hear the brrrt. Goes the same for every plane.

Assault Horizon had such a powerful sound design man, shame the fumbled it because ASM mode sucked

Ok can we also talk about how AH graphics look on par with AC7? Like how many years of difference are between the two and it hold ups like that?

I really like the graphics in AH overall. Everything is too polished in 7. I see a lot of games built by Unreal Engine 4 have the same eyecandy looking.

Worst part about the ac7 gun is it doesn't seem to be any more powerful than any of the other planes guns

Ya didn't do AC 6 ya silly goose. Couldn't tell you off the top of my head how it sounded but they did up its damage compared to every other plane's gun so it got a pass from me. Probably the most satisfying game to use it in out of the series. Still holding out for the PW 1.5 update. A 10 has to be in there.

When you lose to a psp game u know you are doing something wrong

There are 3 different gun sounds in ACAH as far as I can tell One for US planes (M61 Vulcan & F-35's GAU-22 (?)) One for russian planes (Gryazev-Shipunov machine guns) One unique to A-10 (GAU-8 Avenger)

How did you mod the Su-25 in PW? I'm a bit disappointed with how it sounds and i need it to BRRT as well!

My opinion: I fined the WT brrrt is just more accurate not realistic but more accurate.

it sounds a bit high pitched but it certainly is more accurate than older AC games, gotta admit Assault Horizon takes the cake on this one, something about that sound just screams A10 Warthog to me

Is it really so hard to ask the USAF to do a sound recording while they do a gun test on the ground? I mean they don’t even have to have it in the air, they just need to have a tech pull the trigger until the drum is empty while it’s being recorded.

Idk about that but it's definitely much easier to import the audio file from old AC games (preferably Assault Horizon) to AC7 ^^

A-10 overrated, reformers overrepresented. Nerfed brrt to put the A-10 in its real place - the corner of friendly-fire shame. A-10 - for when you need bullets applied directly into the area of friendly Brits and marines.
