The tq loss honestly doesn’t seem worth it. The benefits of this motor over the 2.0L is the tq, sacrificing or taking away from that to push the rpm’s a bit higher where it’s not really making power anyways seems senseless. Unless you are 3” ‘catless’ all the way back with an aggressive tune and E85 the rbc isn’t worth it IMO

I have a 15 si be careful running the reflash if you have a 14-15 9th gen Bc the ecu is slightly different. The 12-13 ecu runs all the base maps from flash pro fairly well but I ran into a A/F issue with the reflash and was getting knock counts in random areas of my power band from running too lean and rich sporadically. It’s not horrible but if you plan on running a reflash for a long time it will accumulate all the little damage over time just be aware Bc I wasn’t at first.

Got the same exhaust on my car with the NV6 downpipe and Ktuned intake. Thing sounds mean once VTEC pops.

You really got the best out of that exhaust!

I got this same setup with ktuner. Same dp and q300 but used Sri to avoid potential hydro lock. I dyno at 212fwhp

@@Eggsplanepls it’s accurate. As of Dec 14 anyway. Mustang dyno at Redemption Racing in NC on 93 pump gas at 42 degrees. 212fwhp @7100 rpm. I always keep my pdf

Jeremy Arendt there’s a bit of cabin drone sound but not that much. I think it’s perfect. Not too load not too Quiet. It’s almost like a stock sound but a lil more beefy honestly it’s a nice exhaust can’t go wrong. If you can just try and get a used one save some money.

get full race 3 inch, you wont regret. I had q300 and then went with full race exhaust and downpipe, Q300 is a Great exhaust but full race just blows me away quality and sound wise and you'll make more power

If you only swap the exhaust you shouldn't have a check engine light. Only do a tune if you want more performance, if you just want a nice sound you don't need to do a tune.

What gains can u get from replacing the aluminum manifold from the 8th gen si ?

You gain power from 6k but you lose torque in the low and mid range.

Its all about your personal choice and how much money your willing to spend. Still have to tune mine. The Hondata reflash gives you a bit more noticeable power but an E-tune or dyno tune will help the car run better. My CAI is up for sale if your interested @Tcho2100
