Two great legends, Rafi Sahab and Kishore Da. I miss both of them every moment of life. I keep on talking about them every day. My regret is that I have not seen them performing face to face. If I ever get to see their sons face to face, I will be honoured. I listen to a song from the film Doosra Aadmi almost every other day to get relief from stress. The song goes like this Kya Mausam hai aye deewane dil. The song is sung by what I call the unimaginable trio of Rafi Sahab, Kishore Da and Lata ji. What a great composition by Rajesh Roshan and as usual beautifully penned by Majrooh Sahab. I urge everyone to listen to this melody with utmost attention. You will get a very good feeling. Thanks

You are absolutely correct Bhaisahab, Legendary King Mohd Rafi Sahab Came to The Land of Bharat as a Gift from The Almighty Creator Supreme! He shared His Gift with us for only a few seconds and then He was gone, The songs are over but The Voice and The Melodies linger on Forever!

He was famous in the late 1970s and 1980's. But luck has it with coming of new singers this star's shine got a lil diluted. But alas jewels are always jewels. Like father like son..... Wish yo listen more of amit sir's songs. Even shahid ji's voice no doubt wud be touching ......

its so good to see the mutual respect and love and care for each other among most male singers be it mohd rafi saab or KK ji or manna ji , mukesh ji or mahender ji or others but we really didn't see this camaradarie among the female singers, why so i don't know and i can't even analyse and comprehend. Can some one throw some light on this question, why like this among the females, was it jealousy, was it feeling of insecurity, was it arrogance, was it a sort of complex? please someone throw light on this but be unbiased. one more thing which i could re-collect from various interveiws i might have watched is that some music directors, some directors and producers and to a large extent some actors did try to play politics and kind of cause a rift among these people but what we know is they never fell into this trap and they never ever let down their fellow colleagues any time and those people who wanted to play that dirty politics failed badly and had to cut a sorry figure and even some film journalists of those days tried this game but never ever succeeded so these things do make us respect those legends more and more but once again let me tell and re-iterate this was absent big time among the female singers specially those sisters.

स्वर सम्राट मुहम्मद रफ़ी साहब की पुण्य तिथि पर उन्हें भाव-भीनी श्रंद्धांजलि। उनकी आवाज़ में साक्षात ईश्वर का वास था। रफ़ी साहब लाज़वाब, अद्वितीय matchless तो थे ही लेकिन वो कितने महान कलाकार थे, उनके दो पहलू वाले गीत को सुनकर अंदाज़ा लगा सकते हैं दो पहलू वाले गीत 1- अकेले हैं चले आओ जहाँ हो, कहाँ आवाज़ दे तुमको कहाँ हो ( फ़िल्म- राज़ ) 2- तेरी आँखों के सिवा दुनिया में रखा क्या है। ये झुके सुबहा चले ये झुके शाम ढले,मेरा जीना मेरा मरना इन्हीं पलको के तले ( फ़िल्म- चिराग ) 3- दिल जो न कह सका वही राजे दिल कहने की रात आयी ( फ़िल्म- भीगी रात ) 4- अहसान तेरा होगा मुझपर, दिल चाहता है वो कहने दो मुझे तुमसे मोहब्बत हो गयी है मुझे पलकों की छांव में रहने दो ( फ़िल्म- जंगली ) 5- तुम मुझे यूँ भुला न पाओगे हां तू मुझे यूँ भुला न पाओगे, जब कभी भी सुनोगे गीत मेरे संग संग तुम भी गुनगुनाओगे ( फ़िल्म- पगला कहीं का ) 6- मेरे महबूब तुझे मेरी मोहब्बत की कसम फिर मुझे नरगिसी आंखों का सहारा दे दे फिर मेरा खोया हुआ रंगीन नज़ारा देदे ( फ़िल्म- मेरे महबूब ) 7- परदेशियों से न अँखियाँ मिलाना, परदेशियों को है एक दिन जाना ( फ़िल्म- जब जब फूल खिले ) 8- वो मेरी शाह-ए-खुबां वो मेरी जाने जनाना, तुम मेरे पास होते हो कोई दूसरा नहीं होता ( फ़िल्म- लव इन टोकियो ) 9- रंग और नूर की बारात किसे पेश करूँ ये मुरादों की हंसी रात किसे पेश करूँ किसे पेश करूँ (फ़िल्म- गज़ल ) 10- वादियाँ मेरा दामन, रास्ते मेरी बाहें जाओ मेरे सिवा तुम कहाँ जाओगे ( फ़िल्म- अभिलाषा ) 11- तुम जो मिल गए हो तो ये लगता है कि जहाँ मिल गया, एक भटके हुए राही को कारवाँ मिल गया ( फ़िल्म- हंसते ज़ख्म ) 12- ज़िन्दगी भर नही भूलेगी ये बरसात की रात, एक अन्जानी हसीना से मुलाक़ात की रात ( फ़िल्म- बरसात की रात ) 13- अगर बेवफ़ा तुझको पहचान जाते तो ख़ुदा की कसम हम मोहब्बत न करते ( फ़िल्म- रात के अंधेरे में ) 14- तक़दीर का फसाना जाकर किसे सुनायें इस दिल मे जल रही है अरमान की चिंताएं ( फ़िल्म- सेहरा ) 15- अजी रूठकर अब कहाँ जाइयेगा,जहाँ जाइयेगा हमें पाइयेगा (फ़िल्म- आरज़ू ) 16- जब जब बहार आयी फूल मुस्कुराए मुझे तुम याद आये ( फ़िल्म- तक़दीर ) 17- चले जा चले जा चले जा....जहाँ प्यार मिले जहाँ प्यार मिले ( फ़िल्म- जहाँ प्यार मिले ) 18- जिया वो जिया वो जिया कुछ बोल दो, दिल का पर्दा खोल दो, जब प्यार किसी से होता है.....( फ़िल्म- जब प्यार किसी से होता है) 19- यार जिन्हें तुम भूल गये हो,वो दिन याद करो ( फ़िल्म - वो दिन याद करो ) 20- आजा तुझको पुकारे मेरे गीत रे गीत रे वो मेरे मितवा ( फ़िल्म- गीत ) इन सभी गीतों को रफी साहब के अलावा लताजी ने भी गाया है। लेकिन ये सारे गीत रफ़ी साहब के नाम से ही मशहूर हैं हालांकि लताजी ने भी बहुत बढ़िया गाया है लेकिन लोगों ने रफ़ी साहब के वर्जन को ज्यादा पसंद किया है यही कारण हैं ये सभी गीत रफ़ी साहब के नाम से ही जाने जाते हैं। और उन्हीं के नाम से मशहूर हैं। बहुत साल पहले मशहूर फिल्मी पत्रिका "माधुरी" में एक मराठी पत्रकार श्री अजित प्रधान ने एक लेख लिखा था "गायन में महान कौन ? रफ़ी या लता" और उन्होंने गायन के विभिन्न मापदंडो और आवाज़ की खूबियों के पैमाने पर ये साबित किया था कि रफ़ी साहब लता जी से ज्यादा बड़े या महान सिंगर हैं। उन्हीं पैमानों में ये दो पहलू वाले गीत भी आते हैं जो कि केवल रफ़ी साहब के नाम से पहचाने जाते हैं। आज 31st जुलाई को इस अज़ीम फ़नकार की पुण्यतिथि है। रफी साहब को इस फ़ानी दुनिया से गये 42 वर्ष हो गये लेकिन आज भी उनका जादू बरकरार है बस अफ़सोस इस बात का है कि ये महान गायक बिना "भारत रत्न" के ही चला गया। स्वर सम्राट रफ़ी साहब को दिली खिराज़-ए-अक़ीदत🎂🎂🎂तुमसा नहीं देखा💐💐💐मुझको मेरे बाद ज़माना ढूंढेगा👍👍👍
