My method of testing for weapons that can't slash is lvl 80 Manic Bombards. At that level with no armor reduction they have ~2.6 million effective health, which is more than an armorless Corrupted Heavy Gunner at lvl 9999 to compensate for type advantages. So if a weapon can kill this thing without type advantage, it will surely hold up in level cap with proper damage types.

@@pxinfxl8971 radiation is neutral to or resists popular elements: Heat, electric, gas, corrosion, Viral. That means to normal targets you will actually deal more damage than you can do to the Manic Bombard.

@@mr_-_awa_ke_ner3840 So, enemies can have health, armor and shield, yeah? All of them have weaknesses and strengths against different types of damage. Enemies that have Infested Flesh take more damage from Gas. Shields take more Magnetic damage. For armor type advantage works differently. Alloy armor has 75% Rad weakness, so alloy armored enemies take 75% more damage from radiation, and have 75% less armor against it. That's nearly x7 damage! That's why advise against using radiation in this testing, because it would skew results.

Using guns with multiplicative co makes this easier

the damage you need to deal wont change so its just testing if you damage is high enough for what you need it to do. if its low use abilities to boost the damage, and priming, and even arcanes if needed. There are so many multipliers in the game now, every weapon can level cap
