This weekend was the first for me with the new Porsche 997 GT3 RS 3.8 and I have to admit that this car is a blast! It is quite a change compared to my E46 M3, but the more laps I did, better the feeling was! This lap was on saturday afternoon following a friend and his 991 GT3 RS. We managed to do about 7'40min BTG into trafic.
Can't wait to go back there next year with some adjustments on the car!

It's his first time with the GT3RS lol. Nobody would drive that fast on a track they don't know especially the almighty ring
Some really nice gear changes and rev matching! The way that motor responds to blips is incredible.
The 911 is the queen of the ring

Good, fast use of the 997 gearbox/pedals. I am more used to the 996 and find the 997 gears/HnT a little awkward...but hoping for more seat time in 2018 to improve this

HustlerTrickipedia also das wäre ja fatal. Da geh ich mal mit meinem 85k rs3 eine gemütliche Runde drehen und dann rammt mich jemand und mein Auto hat dann Totalschaden und niemand zahlt dafür? Dann haben ja die Leute mit den fetten Autos ja richtig Eier dort fahren zu gehen!

The_black_Frank_White also die normale versicherung zahlt nicht in der regel, gab mal ein fall wo ein youtuber mit seinem huracan rausgeflogen ist und der hat anscheinend nichts bekommen... Gleiches gilt auch wenn dein auto flüssigkeiten verliert und somit ein unfall zustande kommt, das kann auch schnell teuer werden (da kriegt man nämlich die schuld) Gibt spezielle versicherungen für trackdays, aber da muss man einige auflagen erfüllen
Nice run for your first time mate. Here's what I suggest. Less talking more Focus. At those speeds you only have fractions of a second to react. Let's say you have $10 to spend for the entire lap. You don't want to spend even a penny on talking to a passenger or even out loud. Just focus on corner entry, corner exit and the next approaching corner before you get to it. 👍
