I had to stop consuming so much Christian and spiritual content, & I make content! Too many different people saying different things and it doesn't feel right. I felt like I was obsessing or idolizing the content. I had to get back to the basics: 1:1 time with Jesus, prayer, worship, Bible and being like Christ.

Nick, I'm an older white woman and the only reason I say I'm white is because the world seems so caught up with separating all of us, according to our pigmentation. As Christian brothers and sisters, we are all gonna be family for eternity. You are one of the first Utube channels I started following, because I absolutely love your honesty, and as parents, we need to be aware of what's out there because of our children, or grandchildren. You are always careful not to condemn people, and you show the good, along with the bad. I've been hooked ever since you did the video of the young man in his car, that was talking about how he got high and a Jay-Z album he listened to really affected him. I was able to share that video with my 29yr old son, and it helped my son! Thankyou! God bless you, and your family! You do an awesome job! Keeping you in my prayers, and sending love from Texas!❤

@@whocares4464 Same here! I think I mainly said that about color, because un-believers might be looking through the comments, and I wanted them to realize that we are all children of God. I've said before that if God made all of us the same way, what a boring place this would be!😂 I'm just ready for all of us to be one, big family. My son that I talked about in the comment, died a few months ago and I'm really having a hard time, but I'm grateful to Nick because my son started watching his videos, a few months before he died, and I know that Nick's videos along with lots of prayer and rehab were what brought my son to Jesus before he died! God bless you!❤️

Hi sister, I am an older white woman too, and it really saddens me to see the church- both black and white- corrupt themselves on sound doctrine. I had just commented this before reading your comment: I have been a Christian KZreadr for almost 7 years, and have done over 700 videos teaching the Bible and I have been hated because I teach that divorce and remarriage is ongoing adultery and no adulterer is going to heaven- 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Mark 10:1-12, Luke 16:14-18, Romans 7:1-3 and 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 & 39. If we are doing videos we have to teach what the Bible says. God is also sending Jesus to rapture His true followers, and probably 98-99% who think they are Christians are going to be left behind to be in the Tribulation. I agree with him that we shouldn't be showing the details of what the wicked are doing. We aren't even supposed to be searching the deeper things of Satan- Revelation 2. You are going to be judged for every idle word spoken (me too), and we can't be telling people that they need to pray for a marriage that is not a marriage but adultery. We shouldn't be popular but salt and light to be willing to be hated as Jesus said we would be. If you really just opened the Bible and started reading it out loud, you would lose viewers. For instance, you shouldn't have shown but a little bit of Kevin Gates for instance because it's not good to show cussing and blasphemy. He is right about reading Matthew 5-7 over and over. I teach the Bible, and I know that is what God wants me to do since the churches are mostly corrupt. MIKE WINGER IS A FALSE TEACHER ON DIVORCE AND REMARRIAGE!!!!! Having been born again for almost 19 years, I know sound doctrine and the Trinity is absolutely correct and Oneness is a different Jesus and anti-Christ. ‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:22‭-‬29‬ ‭KJV‬‬ [22] Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. [23] Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. [24] Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. [25] And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. [26] These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. [27] But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. [28] And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. [29] If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

I take everything Don says with a grain of salt. I watched this man over the course of the year jump from theology to theology. First it was free grace, then it was hebrew roots, then he denied the trinity, and now he’s into calvinism. If he went through all of this privately it wouldn’t be an issue but he did this publicly trying to be a teacher leading many including myself astray. His words hold virtually no weight.

Haven't you done some level of the same during the course of your own walk? I know I have. Before we start calling out the errors of others, we must first remove the log from our own eyes. I own the fact that I've not only believed certain doctrines to be true in the past that I know now to be absolute error, but I voiced my opinions about my beliefs in those doctrines to others. I am remorseful for those errors and repented. As Nick was saying, a true Christian never wants to feel they've been a stumbling block to someone else's faith, and I don't get that Don wants to either. The Bible tells us to extend gentle correction, love and grace to one another, and to pray for each other. Try to keep that in mind. Peace and blessings.

I appreciate Don because He did leave the "worldly" content behind for a life of chasing after Jesus, but in my opinion, he should not be a content creator, at least in Christian spaces. Don has changed his mind and stance on theology every few months and His crowd eats it up, follows him, and hangs on every word he says. In my opinion, no new Christian should be teaching like He's doing. He's confused so many people over the past year, and for what? From King James Onlyism to Denying the Trinity ALL IN THE SPAN OF 1 YEAR!! I really pray he settles down to figure out what he believes because flipping around like that isn't just bad for him, but for the many young ones watching him and others new to the faith. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 10:23 “All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up. You don't need to dive into the Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic every time you log onto KZread. So much head knowledge and scripture recitement from him only to miss the mark on what the text is saying. I have watched him for the past year and some change. New Christians should focus on reading the scripture. Take time to understand things, ask elders to flesh out their questions, learn, etc."Hanging out" with a Christian content creator is fine too-- we should all just be careful not to neglect our own realtionship with God.

But it's the responsibility of each person who views online content to make sure that their main source of spiritual information is coming directly from the Bible. We need to spend enough time in the Word so that when we do watch a video, we have the knowledge and discernment to know if what's being said is biblical or not. Videos should never be the main source of our spiritual food. And I say that knowing that I can be as guilty of it as the next person. Now read the rest of what I said verbatim, and refer to this scripture: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10 *"Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?"* James 2:17-20 If a man who claims to have Salvation and is a Christian says that they have faith, and has no works to support that faith, then that man is NOT saved, not a Christian, but has a dead faith. Faith and Works goes hand and hand, like the Spirit and Body. *"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."* James 2:26 It is also important to note that these "works" aren't our OWN works, nor are they works of the law, but Obedience to doing the will of God and obeying what He says. If the Scriptures say to "Believe," believe. If they say to "Repent," Repent. If they say, "Be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ," be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. [[These are not YOUR OWN works.]] I cannot stress that enough, because many get a wrong interpretation of Ephesians 2:8-9, and fail to read Ephesians 2:10. Jesus said, "And ye shall know them by their fruits." If a man claims to be a Christian, but lives like the world, then you and I can identify the man by his fruits by his works and what he does or does not do, for God.

There is a thin margin between gossip and criticism, they are basically members of the same family, however from a moral standpoint pertaining to biblical principles, by righteous understanding, we can morally apply considerably righteous judgment, towards these individuals, sinful dysfunctionality, from a edifying point of view in administering the gospel to the public, but not for the defaming or demonizing of anyone to condemn them. But Jesus will lead the humbled heart in the direction of love and mercies, to have wisdom, knowledge and understanding to have the spiritual eloquence and intelligence in teaching the gospel of truth 🙏🏾

I agree that everything doesn’t need a public response, and some people just want to watch someone who will dive into scriptures without commenting on the world. Buttt there is great benefit in knowing what’s going on and how we should respond as Christians to it. A lot of why Christian’s are in the world is because no one is telling them that it is wrong, no one who’s Christian around them is giving them the Christ centered perspective.

@@kargboalimashe said not fulfilling meaning maybe not to her. And that is a longgggg list of people to listen to. That’s too many opinions. It’s ok to listen to maybe 1 or 2 people who have the same mindset or views. But to listen to all of those people you named, that’s a lot and it distracts you from learning the truth and Bible yourself.

I will have to agree with him! That’s one thing I noticed before I started my channel and I asked God to keep me in his will and not my will! We have to be discerning of what we post especially when we have a big following because you will be held accountable for what you post and how you’re entertaining the people that follow you. Are you leading them closer to God or away? When posting worldly things it leads down a rabbit hole and then TEMPTATION. So yes let’s be careful of what we post, what we watch/listen to 🤷🏾‍♀️

Hmmm! Not all Christian content is for every Christian believer. We are all in different stages in our personal walk with Christ. One type of Christian content could causes one to stumble. The same type of Christian content could open one’s eyes to the truth. It is okay to say, this is not for me.

Idk this Don guy, I've never seen his stuff. My immediate impression: Don's body language, tone, presentation and his delight in dishing out judgement while engaging in intellectual masterbation... PRIDE. I'm guessing he is not aware, I think he feels he is helping. He's not completely wrong, he seems like a good guy. I recognize pride quickly because I've been guilty of it many times myself. I also recognize humility and I see it in you often, Nick. You're alright

oh Nick, Don is putting doubt in your mind! that is not being a good Christian brother, to make people doubt themselves. you give good honest Christian opinions about content that is already out there. and even if you do make a mistake, God does not expect us to be perfect. but he knows our hearts and i am sure all of your subscribers know yours is good. Do not start doubting yourself because of him. as soon as i started listening to what he was saying, wolf in sheeps clothing kept repeating in my mind! if they say it is bad, you know it is good and vice versa .

He is right Nick… a lot of times we end up posting or commenting on things that are not edifying the body of Christ. We can always get better… And I appreciate your transparency- your honesty In my opinion, we are all different to target audiences. You have your trait and your creativity unique to be used by God. As long as we put God first and seek his counsel in everything. Appreciate you Nick Jones-

Yes just how Young Don’s content isn’t edifying to the body of Christ but rather it’s harmful. For example him teaching that being Saved by Faith Alone isn’t enough. It’s heretical. He shouldn’t be teaching anyone anything with his double minded mind where he bounces from one belief to another.

I love your channel and appreciate your content greatly! I was once selling drugs not to long ago and my Nephew was murdered in a deal gone wrong… We sold together and it was 50/50 that it was going to be me. Your content is a reminder of why I left that life and cover the things that people like me have walked away from. You call out what needs to be called out in this world and what you say is true. Idk what I’d watch if I didn’t find you 🙏🏻. We are all the body of Christ and not all body parts do the same things with the same functions.
