Very nice you did pretty much the same thing I did. Slight difference on mine I took a pair of old swing Springer forks and welded them together after I bent them, then I fitted the 4 by 4 knob on that. Interesting note since the 4WD shifter rod is now oval shaped you need to make a notch where the brush lined slot will interfere with the rod in 4wd low (Not a detriment considering its Spring steel & hidden behind the plastic consul panel).

I just flipped the 4x4 handle 180 and i cut a slot for the lever and used that brush looking peice like what goes around the inner handles on chevy door panels

Don’t own a Chevrolet, however I do own a 2010 6.4 F250 with a ZF6 and this has got me wanting to do this with a 2011+ center console in that truck🤙🏻🤙🏻
