I have a 2002 Silverado, do you by any chance know if I have to add a relay or just plugging them in the PCM and Tuning is good enough?

The pcm provides a ground signal, that’s why you need relays. So you need relays, wires from pcm and tuning

Question for you or your audience to answer do the efans blow into the radiator or into the engine compartment? Not sure in New Jersey

Im going to be doing this mod to my 04 avalanche in the next few weeks. I'm thinking about purchasing HP tuners and tuning the PCM myself. My question is with HP tuners can I tune the PCM for my gears and tire size as well?

Thanks for making this video. The two wires that go into the PCM have the male/female in between. If I didn’t grab the whole connector and only the female end attached to the fan harness, can I delete the plug and it be fine?

@@bowtiebuilding yes you can delete the plug, or install a new set of plugs. They are cheap and easy to install. I’ve made some for aftermarket fans.

I have a question, my mechanic did the install using oem fans and a bp auto harness, but when he tried to set the computer with hp tuners it locked my pcm..any clue on why its doing it??

Your pcm is locked until you but the credits to unlock it

Do fans turn on when a/c compressor engages??

I haven’t been running my a/c I’ll have to check

Did have any problems with alternator not running another amps for the fans

I don’t know of anyone who tunes PCMs

Are Both fans supposed to turn on at the same time or each one turns on in a certain temperature?

I got my Efans installed last week but the guy told me they will always be on as long as the truck is on is that good?

That depends on what climate you are in. Engines have a designed operating temperature. But that being see I’m not sure how cold your efans are capable of keeping your engine.

@@pene7601 the computer has to be tuned to know to turn them on. You can also turn them on in the ho tuners scanner just to make sure they work

So, I can get a oem harness and do this to my 2000 gmc 4.3 right?

Isn’t it that the 03-06 trucks you don’t have to tune it? It’s only the 99-02 trucks that need to be tuned right ?

They just couldn’t make the blue wire go to the blue connector and the green wire go to the green connector lol

What vehicle is those coming from.. I want to convert my Chevy Silverado (2001 years) .. helped any one know...

They came from a 2006 or 2007 classic silverado 1500.

Which one is fan 1 and which one is fan 2 Are both supposed to come on low and high once up to set temp, or is one fan low and one fan for high 35:51

@Lsxtransam83 yeah I see now lol. At the time one of the pins was not fully inserted, which why only one of my fans was working
