This is great man! I just did my first back up camera on my 2012 premium Saturday and doing my 01 Saleen today. Way easier than I ever expected lol.

I installed a Car Duel back up camera in my 03’ mustang, which I hooked up to my touch screen radio. I looked on KZread everywhere, and I had the same trouble trying to find a good video for the New Edge body style. I think I found one that was put on an Sn-95, that I ended up going with. Nice video!!

Paul Velez I installed a Car Dual XDVD276BT. It is a pretty good radio, I’d say. I’ve had it for about two years now, and it hasn’t given me any problems. Only thing it doesn’t have is a navigation system.

Just wanted to say thank you for the tutorial. I know it was probably a pain in the ass to do while your just hookin up some wires but it saves alot of people time and effort.

Great work and presentation! This is something I too will be doing on my 99 GT. Also great to see the 04 back on the road and out of storage. Yes, the newer Stang's are awesome, but there's something magical about the SN95 years too...

Me and my dad tried to install a back up camera that would turn on whenever the tail lights would turn on but the backup camera still didn’t come on. We are now attempting to wire the camera to the reverse switch. Does anybody know where that is on a *2001 ford mustang that is an automatic transmission and is a 3.8l engine*

I drill a small behind the license plate where it caves in.

step by step but mine isnt working im sad

Okay so I had mine wired up to my 04 GT and it worked great. I just switched to Axial LED tail lights today, wired it the same way that I did on the stock tail lights and it won’t work. Any idea how to get it to work again? Have tried tying a resistor into the reverse light wire and ground along with the power wire for the camera and still nothing.

if the lights are 12volts lights (did not require any other circuitry to connect the LED lights) then you just dont have a good connection to the reverse light power of the ground. Its the only answer, unless you hooked up something wrong and messed up your camera system. Take voltage checks or your connections also. ~good luck

what jl subs did you use in the mach 1000 sub boxes? do you have a video of this install?

I had all the speakers replaced with JL Audio speakers by a audio shop the subs are 10 inch with a 900watt jl amp driving them , cost me $1500,00 to have done.

I'm thinking about removing the locking mechanism on the trunk and mounting the camera lens where the trunk lock is. Would it still latch and would your key fab still pop the trunk is my question.
