@@C0d0psheight is mostly genetics but diet does a lot, my father grew up in spain post civil war period which was extremly poor and the diet basically consisted on bread and onions, and my mother is below average, and im 4 cm higher than my dad. Of course genetics play the highest role but exercise and diet can be the difference between a couple of inches.

I recently heard this story from him and it hits home, I had the same issue I didnt start going through puberty untill I was 18 and it was a slow process, food allergies due to poor diet was the cause unfortunately didnt figure it out unitll about 25 years old it was the early 2000s. Lost my virginity with a pre pubescent dick and no pubes, got robbed of a normal teenage experience, bullied, I remember my self talk was horrible, I used to wish people wouldnt see me walking through the halls in school, still unwinding those mental issues it caused. Had great athletic potential but had to quit sports because I didnt grow. Obvioulsly didnt become near as successful as efferdine but I turned it around.

This is super interstesting. I sometimes wonder how much more I'd grow had I had a proper diet growing up. I grew up super poor here in NYC and lived off junk food. I played a lot of street sports and made it to 6'2" by Freshman year of hs but then I didn't eat food during the school day and didn't grow another inch. I was essentially doing intermittent fasting before it was even a thing. Started college at 6'2" 158lbs and got into weight lifting. Graduated at 200lbs. Now in my 30's I'm in the 230's 17% bodyfat but trying to get back down to 210.

I had the same issue, but now im 20 years old (Disclaimer this is my personal experience only) I was 5'3 graduating in high school till uni with weight around 90 pound-ish with aloot of activity in sport especially in basketball. Sleep less (under 8 hour), school from 7/8 am to 3 pm, play basketball until 5 or so basicly 10 hour in mid school and doing HIIT Calisthenics in high school with Hundreds of reps (Like i can do 60 push up with very bad form, 20 with perfect form). Used to measure my weight and height a loot (cuz im under average). Now im 20yo sleeping 8 hour and maintain a healthy diet with milk, more protein, carbs. Dont care about my height because im basicly average (im from developing country btw) Idk what else i do but maybe sun exposure (My house 30 min from my uni with motorcycle) but i dont recomend doing that long lmao Also lowering my high intensity to workout, focuse on muscle growth (Only do 8-10 perfect form, arledy pretty exhausted) My Height is 5'8 but still skinny ripped body. Maybe i should maintain my health more, there so much to change. Sorry my english very bad

I was pretty much nothing but bone and muscle lol. Then I started lifting just genetics alone built me a decent physique even before I started eating properly

@@C0d0ps Hello, it’s actually the opposite. Due to complications at birth I was born with a pituitary that doesn’t function properly. Because of that I failed to hit puberty as I never produced any testicular testosterone, my total levels were 80ng/dl at 26 with undetectable LH/FSH. So I only started puberty at 26 when I started hormonal replacement therapy. I kept on growing up until that point because my growth plates hadn’t fused yet. (I believe that process happens during puberty because of estrogen and testosterone peaks). Here the man in the video had a normal body to begin with but was hypo because of malnutrition. Correct, delayed puberty means longer times with lower T. As T increases, the testosterone aromatizes to estrogen which closes the growth plates inhibiting further vertical growth. However, his cause of delayed puberty is not healthy- and probably was not worth any (probably minor) gains in height. Its also unclear how much he could be growing while in this state, even with growth plates still open.

🎼🎶🎵 A weakling weighing 98 pounds Will get sand in his face When kicked to the ground And soon in the gym With a determined chin The sweat from his pores As he works for his cause Will make him glisten And gleam, and with massage And just a little bit of steam He'll be pink and quite clean In just seven days I can make you a man! 🎼🎶🎵

Excessive physical exercise and physical stress, especially in athletes can also delay pubertal onset.[32] Eating disorders such as bulimia nervosa and anorexia nervosa can also impair puberty due to undernutrition.[30][33] Carbohydrate-restricted diets for weight loss have also been shown to decrease the stimulation of insulin which in turn does not stimulate kisspeptin neurons, vital in the release of puberty-starting hormones.

@@Ohnonono123 Youre intentionally misrepresenting the facts. The first section is based on female gymnasts and females with severe eating disorders. "Delayed pubertal onset" is just when they got their first period. This has no relevance to what was mentioned.

@@christiandulaney1638 It's entirely possible to delay pubertal onset due to lack of nutrition. You don't even need severe eating disorders, the age of onset for puberty for women has dropped from something like ~17 years old a couple of hundred years ago to ~13 years old now. That isn't from environmental estrogens, maybe a very slight change is, but most of it is from nutrition.
