GaryVee always spitting fire 🔥 Uncle G is the reason I took dealing with PTSD and Insomnia and figuring out a way to make it a positive. Nobody cares about your problems and the faster you learn to deal with that the easier it is to swallow that pill. Instead of being mad about not sleeping I just hustle. I started a small company around something I’m passionate about “Fishing”. The process of making soft plastic Baits for fishing has become as enjoyable as actually fishing. It doesn’t feel like work at all because I actually like doing it and since I don’t sleep more than 3-4 hrs a night I can stay up all night, listen to podcast(s), gain knowledge, make baits, and be happy. Turning a positive out of a negative.

Julia Fishel thank you. Coming out of he military being injured was a hard pill to swallow not gonna lie. Everyone has their ups and downs, their bumps and bruises, things that bother them. What I learned especially from watching Gary was that instead of always looking down, feeling sorry for yourself, or being pissed off was to just work. Don’t go do something you don’t like but find a hustle, side job, whatever you want to call it and go be good at it. Give it 100% and if it’s something your passionate about it won’t feel like work. I didn’t understand that for a long time Julia and it happened to find me on one of those sleepless nights. I no longer look at being injured as something that defines who I am, it’s molded me into being a better person. Luckily I found Gary almost 5 years ago before I had gotten hurt, because it shaped my mindset after adversity. Hope you’re following your passion Julia in whatever it is you love, thanks for listening 😀

Julia Fishel That would be awesome if Gary himself saw it lol. Luckily enough his words of wisdom sink into my ears nightly while i listen to his KZread/podcast and to me that’s enough. Personally I new I had to change the mindset I was in and believe me it’s a ongoing process. Much like what you said in your comment above, sometimes it’s easier said then done. You have to be in that right mindset for it to make a full impact. Life is truly a journey that has many ups and downs in it. You’ll have some wins and a ton of losses but the way you take those loses can truly dictate how big those wins will be. I remember coming out of back surgery thinking at my age walking with a cane that my life was over. I was embarrassed, didn’t want to leave the house, didn’t feel like I was a Marine anymore and just overwhelming since of pride was gone. I went from being such a stud in the the Infantry to not even being able to take care of myself without others help. Luckily I started to listen to Gary again and a Navy SEAL by the name of David Goggins. It lit that fire under my ass and reminded me that I wasn’t even through the first quarter of life. Sure it sucked, it was painful and still is but that pain, that sorrow and anger now drive me into being a better person and gave me the courage to hustle like never before. I honestly believe it’s not about how hard the problems or adversities are it’s about how you react and tackle them. Someone’s always has it worse and I do my best to remind myself that everyday. That’s awesome you started a Art channel, what’s it called, I would love to follow along? Keep kicking ass and learning instagram so much knowledge out there we just have to look for it. Look forward to seeing your art page grow, and keep up with the real estate listings on KZread, great way to advertise and show clients 😀

OMG, I am in tears, this is not a business advice, this is an advice to life in general. Got, I was dwelling for so long and now I am trying to find the ways around a year and half, and working hard on my future. It takes so much patience and willingness to continue when it gets hard. When someone tells you you are and idiot doing it, or you are going back to where you started, and you need to jump up and go harder... fighting my demons and working hard every day... Thank you Gary...

When he talks about how nothing has changed and communication all boils down to audio, video, and the written word it’s so true. It reminds me of how everything in math comes down to four things: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Everything else builds off that. People make things too complicated. This is especially true when they are trying to sell you something. If you speak your truth and put in the work everyday to get better at your craft you’ve got a great shot at coming out on top.

I started a video podcast this week, a lot of folks told me, hey you have a career why waste your time on a show? Waste?! How?! They don't understand thats where things are heading. Documentation of the process is authentic. Authenticity is in short supply these days. Thanks Gary V. I look forward to authentically documenting the process. I love that this is the future. Lets work.

That’s awesome Evan keep up the hard work. Life is a journey bro and some people will follow you along on that journey and some people won’t. Hey some people may even hop on and off that train throughout this podcast process but who cares. What’s it’s important is how you feel about it. This could bring you happiness in your life in another way that can’t be seen in the moment right now but Shoes later on. Maybe it opens up doors to allow you to work on interacting with strangers and in turn helps you in sales or communication at work lol. Nonetheless keep doing what you enjoy and don’t give a fuck about what people who spread negativity say. Enjoy the process and the grind. What’s the podcast called Evan, or is it still in the filming stages?
