Same here. Local to the smoky mountains but the first brook trout I ever caught was in Montana and was totally stoked till I found out from the local fly shop guys that they're invasive up there and when they catch them they shoot them with shotguns😅 wish I was joking....

Great vlog, again! really appreciate the trash/treasure at 26min. My local trip on the Arkansas in Pueblo, Co (10/20) I was tired and thirsty at noon. Nothing much but dinks. I was ready to quit and walk back to my car and what do I see was a really muddy Coors light standing up on the bank. First check was if it was full and no leaks. Then the expiration was in a month. Didn't even wash it, then had a couple sips. Went to the last hole to fish and see the last hole to fish, and BOOM, a 22" cutbow! I will save that empty can!

@@WildFlyProductions Hoping for better weather next season, we’ve had record low salmon runs and then the Trout fishing has been poor due ridiculous heat in late April and May. Then unsettled weather in Summer and Autumn, just wouldn’t stop raining! A very frustrating season all in all. If you’re planning on coming across the pond have a look at the River Gacka in Croatia. It’s a Chalkstream and is a lot lot cheaper to fish compared to the Chalk streams in England.
