RECORDED ON JANUARY 5th 2024.
Dr. Honorata Mazepus is Associate Professor in the Political Science Department at the University of Amsterdam. Her research topics include links between institutions and individuals; legitimacy; fairness; and post-communism.
In this episode, we start by discussing what democracy is, how we measure it, and some of its history. We talk about the election winner-loser gap and subjective wellbeing, and citizens’ support for democratic checks and balances. We discuss what civil society is, and its interplay with external actors. We talk about how political legitimacy is established, and what political capacity is. We get specifically into the European Union, and discuss its political legitimacy, respect for national sovereignty, and how it deals with public backlash. Finally, we talk about what drives public support for international humanitarian interventions.

They think that mixing things up (chaos) can change their bitter reality!

The matter is more complicated than that, as fraudsters are a product of that society itself, and the desires of that society may be superficial and naive, especially after being satisfied with the basics such as food and security, so their exploitation becomes easier with the spread of ignorance and backwardness among the public, which provides greater opportunities for fraudsters! But all of this does not justify fraud.

A civilized political system is important for maintaining social peace through the peaceful exchange of power. But the political system alone is not enough, because the essence of who rules is the most important! those who have not been elected by the people who rule them can come to power, but if they are psychologically and mentally sound and have a sense of belonging to the land and the people they rule, so that they devote themselves to serving that people. Bottom line: If the political system, like the current concept of democracy, loses its essence, which is to serve the people, it has no value, as democracy in most countries has become merely a cover for a group of fraudsters who gain power through fraud and deceiving the general public. In some countries, it has even reached the point of forming criminal gangs that run the political scene. Behind the scenes and controlling the puppet show (the elections that represent false democracy), dictatorship does not necessarily mean individual rule, as gang rule is also dictatorial rule.

I think this might simplify understanding: What is the difference between a parliament consisting of 400 monkeys and another parliament consisting of 4 humans only ?! The issue is related to the essence and the mind! A defective complex political system that will not be able to fix the defect within it! I mean that monkeys complicating things will not make them anything valuable! The complexities may amaze simple people, but the reality is that the reason for the complexity may be a logical flaw, not efficiency!

What is physical identity of a Woman?! all must know that! isn’t that enough definition?! ……etc

Man, you're not even commenting on this interview. I've already asked you months ago to stick to the interviews and to try to avoid spamming comments. Can you do that, please?

@@TheDissenterRL Excuse me please, you are right, but there are many of them and they are organized. I am not writing for myself, but for the sake of future generations of mankind . Please copy everything I wrote to pass it on to future generations. KZread employees know very well that everything I wrote is correct (even if KZread channels delete what I wrote, KZread still has the ability to access what was deleted). Through the database), but they may also be involved. What matters to me is that what I wrote reaches future generations, clean and intact. And sorry for any inappropriate language (they forced me to do this), I am in severe terrible physical pain, it makes me more intense, but my mental abilities are still good. I know that I have to stop writing, but what they are doing will make what I wrote useless (perhaps there is hope that what I wrote will reach clean and intact for future generations of humans, they will need all that to survive).

all their nonsense has no value and complexity will never improve the defective logic! it’s about the result, will the one who reaches power devote himself to serve the land and people he rules or not ?! of course A political system that allows for the possibility of peaceful exchange of power to avoid monopoly of power and armed conflicts is important, but it will not be able to guarantee reaching the basic goal of serving the people! The issue is a matter of mind, humanity, being civilised and have vision (to be human)!
