Hi Mike, Melissa. great video. Was looking at the way your sawdust is collected on the gravel. maybe an Idea. Hang a 5 Gal bucket from the chute to collect the saw Dust Then every time you move the saw back you can empty the bucket into a 1 Ton sack, this will not only keep the area & the rope clean but when full you could sell it or store it, easy to move about with the tractor and save a soggy mess in winter. it will also save having to clear up the mess when/if you move the saw. Saw Dust is a great commodity for use and sell as bedding for small pets, chickens etc. $$$$$$$. Stay safe & Have a nice Day.

Three log nite LOL :-) That is some nice lumber and you ain't so bad either Melissa. That is going to be a nice office. It sure is different changing the blade on your Woodmizer. I had a friend back in the day that lived on a farm up in Mercer County his dad wanted some lumber cleared me and my buddy worked on clearing pushing and dragging logs. I slabbed nice and warm when it is - zero. Anyway, the blade was rotary and very heavy and sharp your Woodmizer is much safer than that was but it was for mainly pallets. Ohio Hardwoods was the company we got paid in cash cheap labor. Hello Hunter. Thanks for shring your video with us. Ed

Beautiful! It is always a challenge to decide what sawing plan to use until you get into the log. Try rigging up a 5 gallon pail to hang at the bottom of the saw dust chute. It makes it easier to get rid of some of the sawdust. Also could you discuss your band blade handling and sharpening plan? It is worth the discussion. Thanks! Keep up the good work!

Good morning Mike, Melissa and Hunter, good to see your smiling faces this morning. We still don’t know for sure who is elected. 🤞🤞🤞 Glad that you’re getting the most out of each log you mill. You don’t skin up a bunch of wood the way you use straps and the tractor to turn the logs, I noticed on the mills that have the hydraulic lifts and rollers that sometimes the logs are skinned pretty bad?? Anyway, you’re doing a great job of getting the most lumber you can out of each log and the boards are looking good. Thanks for sharing with us and you all have a great weekend 👍👍👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
