Richard as yet to fight anyone as skilled as these guys in the amateurs since he has turned pro. I hope he gets some good comp in his professional career.

Don't know how he won. Blue needed to turn up the aggression and fight inside for rounds 2 and 3. To the point where Torres at least gave him respect and backed off. Torres did what he was supposed as the smaller guy, and Mexican slugged his way into Cuban's guard. Torres even more clean shots and seemed to have more combat effectives. This seems like a robbery to me.

I would like to ask these judges why they gave blue the match? For my round 1 blue( showed more skill and controlled the round by tactical and technical superiority) Round 2 Red ( showed more competitiveness) Round 3 10-8 for Red( clear winner by number of punches landed and showed more competitiveness)

The Cuban fighter should've got at least one point deduction for holding, that was outrageous how much he held the whole fight. And despite that, the american fighter won that.

It's bad when an amateur fight is fixed. Those judges should have been banned from boxing. The ref was biased too.

Blue did a lot of holding no warning from the ref

an atrocious robbery.

Round one was close but round 2 red won easily and round 3 wasn't even close with red giving blue an 8 count, bloody nose, had him running gor help. Ref was terrible also

R. Torres was not.as polished as the other fighter. However, R. Torres made the judge give his Opponent a standing 8 count n R. Torres was the aggressor.....His Opponent was just trying to keep up but fell short......but I am not the judge.......what can b said to right this wrong........Al B

shouldve been a tie but since they cant do that i see no issue giving it to blue. R1-Blue R2-debatable R3- Red. Between the unintentional head butts and the wild misses red just made blue look better than he is and im sure thats why they gave it to blue at the end. plus the final between cuba and columbia was they fight they wanted to fight.

Amateur boxing is scored by punches not rounds and knock downs are just one point like regular punches but Torrez won hands down

Jeffrey Young they changed the point system about 3 years ago. It’s pro style now, hence the no headgear rule too. It all changed with that except for the Golden Gloves. They still have headgear but they judge based on pro style scoring.
