Once activated, Avive's AEDs in the community are then be transported quickly to the scene by volunteer CARE Team members who can initial lifesaving CPR and early defibrillation.911 Dispatcher, Christy, of Jackson, TN describes how the Avive Connect AED's technology offers unprecedented visibility into SCA rescues in 4 Minute Cities, and how that benefits telecommunicators.

So I dont live in a 4 minute city. Does that mean that the dispatcher won't look for an aed nearby during cardiac arrest? Or does that only happen in 4 minute cities

Great question! You are correct. Our partnership with RapidSOS allows 911 telecommunicators in participating 4 Minute City Programs to “dispatch” nearby Avive Connect AEDs to patients in need and receive valuable data from the AED during a rescue. 911 centers do need to opt in.
