Appreciate you for going into such detail! 💥
You have the patience of a saint. As a jeweler, I’ve been wanting to do this project for years. I like how you’ve incorporated the resin ring into it. Not sure you needed the wire ring on the back. I suppose you’ve hidden all those wire wraps around to secure. Thanks for the inspiration!
Daniel I watch ALOT of Artist and you are my new favourite ! On this beautiful piece all I can say is You have the patience of a Saint ! I do t but LOVE watching you 👍👍

This video is just down my street! I love working with wire and now I can use it with my resin! Yay!
Coucou Dan !

you are a constant source of amazement. beautiful work
Exactly what I want to start experimenting with - resin and wire together! Great piece. Maybe holding the resin circle in place with a thin piece of wire at top through the small hole to the frame, just while you do the fiddly bits, then remove later? Also, a light hammer of the frame with an acrylic head hammer after you have made the bail stage, would help it keep in shape better but not flatten it? Has inspired me to get on with my ideas - thanks for a great recording 😊
I pray that this day finds you blessed and well, and that you have a no bubbles in your resin kinda day . Yes Steve McDonald is my favorite sweet and sassy crafter, and you are my favorite sweet, and sexy resin man ,don't worry friend,I am not lusting, just appreciating the good Lord's creation 😀

I look forward to seeing more wire wrapping videos, if you’re up to it, using your resin cabs. I have tons i need to make jewelry out of. That is such a lovely idea. I do like the tree of life. I have made quite a few in the past. With the ends of the bail, try leaving them a little longer and wrap them once around the frame this will make sure the bail is secure. I have those moulds, so I will have to have a go. Linda Jones is a good wire worker to watch. Thankyou for sharing your talent.x

A lovely piece! I love it when you combine your crafts. If you leave a longer tail when you begin your half round wrap, you can use it to do a couple of wraps around the front and back of the bail, to bind them together. If that makes sense 😘

So lovely! These are the kinds of projects where I find myself muttering "trust the process" because at certain points they all feel like a hot mess. Some of the pride of accomplishment becomes the fact that you haven't "rage quit" at some point and tossed it in a bin, as well as the beautiful piece you have finished successfully. Thank you for the tutorial!!

Your tutorials don't have to be absolutely perfect, Daniel. Don't worry about little things like when the camera goes out of focus or when something doesn't go quite as planned. We understand these things are part of video creating process. I know there are some commenters who would chew you up for less, but you can't please those people anyway. Your content is wonderful, and I'd hate to see you burning yourself out by trying to perfect everything. ❤

I definitely will be doing some of these. Love that cabochon. I don't agree that the tree takes away. Personally think it compliments it. As a beader who has worked with larger rings, it might be advantageous to at least start the top before doing any of the side branches. I am also thinking about modifying some large binder clips with fabric on the inside to help hold the wires.

Yes, those molds still come in their uv resin starter kits… I think you can get them individually too… I would have to look to make sure…. Helpful hint….. before you put uv resin into a mold that you have stirred additives in, hit it with a bit of hot air from a heat gun… it will eliminate the bubbles :) OMG! I used a cuticle tool to do that on the rings of that perpetual moon calendar I made and posted on the discord channel!!! Never saw anyone use one of them before! You read my mind… lol it’s cool to see that someone else uses the same thing for the same thing I use it for! Do you know how to sharpen the cuticle tool? If not, let me know and I will show you how to do it… it’s a leather working trick :)
