intaneto ga areba yakunitatsu nihongo o sagasu noni kantan desu . "jyouhou" means "information" so perhaps "yakunitatsu (useful)" might be better! The grammar is perfect!!

I have also seen のに used to say 'even though' such as 話しているのに、後輩に寝られた。 Could you make a video on that?

Yes even though or although. I was trying to find that and instead I found different uses of のに。😄

"のに" in Japanese is used to express a contrasting situation, similar to the English conjunction "even though" or "despite." It indicates that there is an unexpected or contrary result given the preceding situation.
seems a good channel for Japanese learning. Ill follow this.

When we use のに as even though

In Japanese, のに can indeed be used to convey the meaning of "even though" or "despite." It's often used to express a contrast between two clauses or ideas. Here are some examples: Formal statement: 仕事が忙しいのに、運動する時間を見つけなければならない。 (しごとが いそがしい のに、うんどうする じかんを みつけなければならない。) (Even though work is busy, I have to find time to exercise.) Informal statement: 寒いのに、窓を開けっぱなしにしてしまった。 (さむい のに、まどを あけっぱなしにしてしまった。) (Even though it's cold, I left the window open.) Using ~て form with のに: 遅くなってしまったのに、彼女は待ってくれていた。 (おそくなってしまった のに、かのじょは まってくれていた。) (Even though I was late, she was waiting for me.) In these examples, のに is used to introduce a situation that contrasts with what might be expected based on the first part of the sentence. It's a useful construction for expressing unexpected or contradictory situations.

I've got a question! For 日本人(にほんじん)はごはんをたべるのに 箸(はし)をつかいます。, why is を used rather than で? I thought that if 'by which means' of an object is being used, it turns to で? Thank you for this lesson!
@MasaSensei

kzread.info/dash/bejne/ipmXpZSAkqi1o5M.html Tool + で means "by using something"!! Please check the video for more detail! Thank you!!!!

i'm late, but i think you use を because 箸をつかいます means "use chopsticks". If you say 箸でつかいます then that would mean "use chopsticks to use" or something like that I think you're thinking of 箸で食べる "eating by chopsticks"
Hi まさ先生! To express the purpose, we have already seen ように and ために. And のに is also a way to indicate the purpose. Therefore, are there any differences between them ? May I say, for example : 携帯は友達と話すように便利です instead of 携帯は友達と話すのに 便利です ? Thank you in advance for your answer.
@MasaSensei

Sorry to be late! I made a short video for you!! instagram.com/p/CRiTmMRnhCk/ ために is one of the most basic sentence patterns to express aims like “to do,” and “in order to do.” The conjugation is to attach the plain (dictionary) form to ために The function is to express aims of use and thus you often use …のに with predicates which indicate use like “使う: to use,” and “役に立つ: helpful,” “必要: necessary,” and “便利: useful.” The conjugation is just to attach the plain (dictionary) form to のに. ように expresses aims by describing ideal situations. The conjugation is to attach the plain (dictionary) form to ように. If the ように part is affirmative, non-volitional verbs should be used. If the ように part is negative, both volitional and non-volitional verbs can be used.
先生質問は一つ。 この動画(どうが)は日本語(にほんご)の 勉強(べんきょう)をするのに役(やく)に立(た)ちます。 "日本語の勉強する" it was always 日本語を勉強する why is changed and that "no" and "wo" added here ? i cant understand the grammar and context.
@MasaSensei
Жыл бұрын
there is no such phrase as "日本語の勉強する" it is either "日本語の勉強をする" or "日本語を勉強する" First, the verbs are different. The verb for "日本語の勉強をする" is "する". The verb of "日本語を勉強する" is "勉強する" (a verb made from Chinese). Both verbs use a sentence pattern that designates the object in the wo case and the agent in the ga case. In ``日本語の勉強をする'', the entire noun clause that connects ``日本語'' and ``勉強'' with ``の'' is in the wo case, and this is the object of ``する''. Actors are omitted.

Hi Sensei. I hope you notice my question. Using your sentence "来年日本へ留学するのにお金がいります", will it sound weird if I said it as "私はお金が来年日本へ留学するのにいります" ?
@MasaSensei
Жыл бұрын
Gramaticaly, i is correct but it sounds weird because お金 and いります are far apart. Normally, we will mention what is needed just before いります. So 来年日本へ留学するのにお金がいります is more common to use!

@MasaSensei

ために and のに are interchangeable but adjectives often come at the end of the sentences which use のに. There is a difference between ために and のに A ために、B For A, you put in a sentence that describes cause or reason. It can also be a sentence that describes a purpose. A sentence that should have with a cause/reason and result. 急用ができたために、午後の会議には出られません。 Because of some urgent business, i cannot attend the afternoon meeting. Let’s take a look at another sentence. When you are using this grammar for describing purpose and aim, it is ok to have sentences that describe volition for B Aように B For A, you put in a sentence that describes a purpose. 日本語の会話が理解できるように、毎日テープを聞いている。 In order to be able to understand Japanese conversation, every day i listen to the tape.
