Cops heard the guy robbed a donut shop but discovered they only had less than $100 in cash. The guy took all the donuts instead. The police response was predictable. Like bees attacking a bear that stole honey.

It amazes me every time I see a single car chase and 20 or 30 police cars respond at the end of the chase, WHY?????

Don't bother watching this replay. Unless you want to stare at thay same scene for 1.5 hours with no resolution.

Anyone who lives in Los Angeles, Orange or Riverside counties knows that the 91 is one of the most hellacious freeways during rush hour. No matter how many lanes wide, it remains a parking lot in the morning and the evening. Have to imagine a lot of angry drivers waiting. Police should have let them at the perp. Situation would have been over in a few minutes.

A "professional" group of police would have used at least 600 cars to monitor this squashed sedan. These morons only used 48, and many of those with only one or two occupants.

If you watch other videos with helicopter footage you will see there were THREE armored SWAT vehicle with a half-dozen guys in body armor. And I counted at least 22 other Police and CHP vehicles. This was absurd and incredibly wasteful. One other poster said the delays affected people for 5 hours.

Just look at all those police vehicles to stop one thug. You have wonder at how much wasted tax-payer money is wasted when deadly force could end it faster, save money, keep the jails and court dockets clear.
