    I wanted rainbow art SO BAD when I was a kid but my parents never bought anything from infometcials. I had a friend that had it though and they said the colors never looked as good as in the commerical. I guess my parents already knew that infomercials were a scam 😅

    Those infomercials were top tier. My introduction to late-night infomercials was "The Magic Bullet". The way 8 year old me begged my parents for it is wild, but it payed off when they gave it to me for my 18th birthday 🎉

    Fun fact: head-on got in legal trouble for false advertising and they were still allowed to advertise, but no longer allowed to claim it did anything (since it didn’t). That’s why they switched to commercials instructing you to put it on your forehead with no further explanation
