I have LEDs in my Silverado, and my Grand Cherokee. The Dakota I just bought has stock lights, paired with old oxidized housings. It's like driving with no lights compared to my other vehicles. Headlights is always one of the first things I change on a new vehicle.

What headlights do you have and where did you get them

I have a 2000 dodge dakota and I was wondering what headlights you have and where you got them

Is the digital pattern on top and bottom (base facing horizontal) or digital pattern left and right (base facing vertical)?

How'd you get both high and low beams to work? Mine will work with 1 led and 1 halogen or 2 halogens. But as soon as i put 2 leds in it gets stuck on the high beams 2000 dakota

I have a question. I know nothing about vehicles but I wanted to do this myself. I've changed the regular bulbs so that's no problem. But Why does everything else I've seen say I need a Conversion Kit? You didn't use one right?

Hello. Nice video. SO I wanted to know how much more heat these will produce over the standard 9007 incandescent bulb? I would like to try these but would like to know this as I just replaced the old headlamp assemblies with brand new ones. I installed the Sylvania 9007 SilverStar bulbs but didn't notice much of a difference so I am returning them. Thanks for the video.

I would deff get fog light bumper that would improve visibility closer to the front of the truck. And outward.

When you installed the led headlight bulbs did you need to install any canbus decoder for the flickering also how did you get rid of the high beam light on the cluster i installed some led headlight bulbs on my truck my high beam light on my cluster stays on even if i turn off and on the high beams

These bulbs are super bright and I’ve dealt with the guys at JDMastar one on one and they are super helpful and stand behind their products. You can also give them a call if you want specific info. Ask for Jose if you call he will set you up 💪

I'll tell you something very interesting. I just installed the Leds on my Dakota RT. They work perfect and I connected the fog lights too and when I try to turn on all the lights like I did before it doesn't work anymore. and the check engine came on with codes p0753 and p1765. I didn't know what to do, I couldn't get the fog lights to work and I couldn't turn off the check engine with the scanner. I disconnected the LEDs and put the regular ones on and connected the fog lights again, I connected the scanner and there I was able to delete the check engine. the conclusion that fog lamps and leds do not work well together. I left the leds connected and the fog lights disconnected and there was no problem. what do you recommend?

I dig the LED improvements, I literally just picked up a 1999 dodge Dakota, I was wondering what other head light housing is available, I was also wondering what you did for the cluster lights

I have this same truck mine is a 99. I changed the headlight and put led bulbs in. I also have led turn signals. I have replaced the flasher relay to deal with the fast turn signal due to lower voltage. I have an issue of the head light flashing sometimes when the turn signal is on go for a bit. Have you come across this issue? Any ideas on a fix?

Did you leave the cups in the headlight? I have tried multiple leds in my aftermarket reflectors very similar to these but they are 2 piece. All of them have had horrible beam pattern

I've had the same experience with my Durango headlights. No matter what orientation I had for the LED's I never liked the beam pattern. I ended up ripping them out and going back to Halogens. I went with a set for $180 too so I didn't go cheap cause I didn't want to be disappointed and I still regretted the purchase.

@@seangaskell5302 I used cheap ones and then I even bought the 2 Stroke Morimoto, super expensive ones that are supposed to be the only ones that are to be used in reflector housings.... Those got returned

@@TboneDuggins I'm having the same problem with Torchbeam led bulbs. Seems like the beam pattern is useless. Did you ever fix the beam pattern.

@@ddemier I ended up buying a set of LED headlights from Headlight Revolution. They have amazing products and the ones I got were designed and meant for reflector housings. The beam pattern is not amazing like what you would get from a projector but it's not as scattered all over the place like other LED headlights that I've tried in reflector housings. These ones are also meant not to blind oncoming traffic.

dont these give the blinkers a fast blink without a resistor?

I have a question, my LED'S I put on my 99 SLT Dakota my low beams are high and high is low on the switch, with happened I lost my fog light on low beam for they don't work on high beam..any ideas to resolve the problem

My fogs did not work correctly, ass backwards for I cant stand that 😒

Are those the stock retainer rings? Mine have to be cut down to get my headlight revolution LEDs in. My rings are gray. Yours are black and look slimmer. I would much rather just buy some slimmer ones than modify mine!

Yeah it’s all stock. Shouldn’t have to cut anything I would hold off. I’m going to be testing another set of 9007 bulbs (the 2005 ram uses the same ones) within the week so keep an eye out for that vid as well 💪

OK so upon further investigation/realization the rings are from the aftermarket clear housing I installed and the stock originals are on the old housing. I haven't confirmed but I believe they are slimmer.

No conversion kit needed brother these are plug and play just like you see! Only thing to keep in mind is if your vehicle is newer and has a bulb out warning you will need some adapters but that’s about it!

Indeed, most vehicles are plug and play when running our products. Only time you need an adapter, as John mentioned, is if the car has a unique system that gets picky with your LED headlights but nothing we cannot easily remedy through our Decoders. If you have a Dodge, its very common to require them due to pulse width modulation used on low beams.
