Great video, Darren. Any chance for an updated arsenal video? I love the 'what's in the bag' series. Even if not much has changed, I think we learn a lot seeing you talk through progressions and different combinations of equipment.

Out of the 4-5 other reviews of Harsh Reality vs OG Reality, you are the only person who's had a better look with the Harsh. Not quite sure if thats a good thing or not, but oh well 🤷‍♂️

Hi Darren, really enjoying your content. Been learning a lot from you, Brad&kyle, and PBA tour videocasts. Currently a 170 avg. two handed 14lb bowler. What are some steps to take if you really want to commit to bowling? Currently only have a used 1500 finish omega crux, and used 2000 finish hyroad, plus spare ball. Any recommendations what new ball will fit my arsenal, as well as replace if believe there is a better option. I've been bowling in league for two seasons, will be going to gold coast soon. Any hotel recommendations? Will be taking children, any suggestions based on experience will help.

Getting this as one of my league strong balls. Would you recommend pin up or down? I bowl your style, or try to at least lol

The reality the absolute power, and a little bit of the eternity pi cleaner more shaped Dowling for an asymmetrical bowling ball. Am I correct?

How would this compare to the Eternity Pi

I like the Hammer colors. It’s like Widow 3.0’s Storm cousin.

How does this compare to the reality check. I have the check and like it, but looking for something else.

When I hear “let that body work” I feel like I’m shopping at Bath and body works and this music is playing in the background

Storm/900/roto came out to have a demo day here in Portland. Out of everything i threw i feel in live with the sublime and the absolute power. But the harsh reality was a close 3rd. I loved the backend and how it read the house shot. I could play steeper angles than i usually do, but, it was noticeably weaker going through the pins regardless the angle. The absolute power i could play almost exactly the same but when it hit the pins grenaded. I'm going to buy the sublime to go along with my summit then probably buy the absolute power to replace my black widow legend (strong asymmetrical). That way i have the summit to come out first and see what the lane is doing, as the transition starts i could move to the sublime to carry me through the bulk of the games, then when the lane is burnt up i can have the AP to be able to play deep left but still have the energy at the backend. I love my bw legend, but i feel like with the AP i could do everything the BW legend does for me and more with more energy on the backend. With the harsh reality i could get super deep left but even when it hit the pocket it was just flat. When i tried to play straighter it just wanted to either hook too much or if i threw it harder it wouldn't hook at all.

What's a/the red square?

Watched 3 staffer reviews on this thing and you’re they first one that got it to go through the pins the right way. When you threw the first ball and it was an off hit I was like ohhh boy they really sent out a stinker. At any rate I’m pretty bummed they DCed the Reality. My favorite asym of all time

But I will say some reviews have been on a sportshot which is way different, honestly sometimes I just think they need to change colors but keep the ball the same. Most people I believe would be ok with a new skin on most these balls so they can have something new but with the same reaction

I think because of the new urethane hardness rule but if you look it up, it should tell you the REAL answer… :)

Basically the purple hammer over time the cover can get soft and make it hook a lot more than it would normally hook and it can make harder pattern easier to keep a more consistent straighter angle to the pocket so the pba raised the hardness level to try and counter the use of urethane

@@PresentedbyJustine Sort of. The PBA's minimum hardness rule never really changed. They're just enforcing the rules properly now. We learned that urethane balls get softer extremely quickly, so they fell below the minimum hardness level almost immediately after they were bought and used. Now urethanes are required to start at a higher hardness so that after their softening stage, they still stay at or above the PBA minimum hardness level.

I’m not sure why they have to come out with so many new balls and they just can’t keep making the old ones?
