Congrats on the big score! That's about 31.1 oz. of silver. That's the most silver I think I've seen anyone get in 1 box!

I've always stayed away from crimped rolls, been roll hunting since 1982. Up to mid 90's 40% ad 64's were common have gotten two boxes in the past with 0 luck. Watched a lot of videos this past year so I figured I'd try again. Ordered 5 boxes from my bank and when I went to pick them up payed for them, she said if I was looking for silver, I wouldn't find any because Loomis's machines pick them out and she must have been right out of 5000 coins not even 1 40% showed up. Out of the tens of thousands coins I checked I've got over 1400$ face of 40% around 200$ 64 Kenedy's and 1 Fraklin with a bullet hole in the center never a walker or anything else. no more boxes for me it's a nightmare trying to get rid of 2500$ of change my bank won't take them back if your roll hunting the other banks won't take them without an account so I took 500$ to another branch of my bank ad she had to open every roll after 200$ I told her to forget it. 20 minutes to open ad count 200$ and reroll them I'm not waiting that long.

I have been really lucky to develop relationships at my banks, so that I can take them back to a single branch in bags (they provide) of $1000 worth. I haven’t been hunting this entire past month starting back up this week. Hopefully there’s some silver in the cards for us.

I also don’t buy that Loomis is pulling them out. Some of my best scores have been Loomis boxes.

Lucky you, in Canada they initiated the Alloy Reclamation Program (ARP) to destroy and sell melt.

Crazy hunt. You found more silver in that one Loomis box than I have found hunting Loomis boxes in almost 3 years. My black brinks boxes have produced like 95% of my silver. I am probably 2 40% silvers out of my last 40 Loomis boxes.

It was awesome. I can say this was probably the most silver I’ve found in a single box ever. I have only had one other good score of silver with loomis. I just added a bank that uses brinks so hopefully we see some more silver.

Excellent score. We are excited to see your hunt and we're happy FOR you too. However, some constructive criticism. Many of us are older and our eyesight isn't what it used to be. It takes time for our eyes to focus. Slow down and show each of your finds on camera. Also, I wouldn't clank the coins together after you've pulled all the visible silver. Someday, you just may end up damaging an error or variety by performing this practice. They are your coins after all but, for YOUR sake, I'd love to see you incorporate these suggestions into any of your future videos. Thanks and great job! *NOTE* Another well-known KZread numismatist made it a regular practice to continually place the pads of his fingers DIRECTLY onto the face of each coin he found. I made numerous comments WARNING him about this practice. He either didn't notice my posts or he ignored them altogether. Finally, in one video he found a BEAUTIFUL PROOF Kennedy Half Dollar. He placed the pads of his fingers on the blemish-free mirror surface. He simply ruined the coin. I GENUINELY felt bad for him AND the poor coin. My comments are not intended to belittle anyone or demonstrate my superiority. (I too have a lot to learn AND I continually make routine mistakes myself.) Yet, I would hate for you to damage a real treasure!

Yeah. You sound like a kid on Christmas morning. I have never seen a haul like this before, it is monumental. Yeah, I think you’re right. You did stumble on a couple of collections dump. Yeah, definitely sounds like you got 2 different collections, if my observation is correct, you have the very robust collection of the Walkers and the Beljis. I have to admit that I’m getting a little envious.

Absolutely crazy amount of silver. Looks like someone was in the same boat as me. There's no coin shops within 100 miles, so they had to just cash everything in to get money. Not s single silver was a Kennedy. Lol. Guess that person didn't collect silver Kennedys.

I'm surprised that the Mint made so many halves (and dimes) during WW2! I'm also surprised that very few halves from the Roaring '20s have survived, none of which were in that box.
