90 Degrees And Climbing! Carrier Unit No Cool Call | Hvac Life
This carrier Roof Top Unit was not cooling. It services a Pilates room and inside temperature was about 85 degrees. After troubleshooting I found that the problem was the contactor. #hvac #hvactechnician #hvaclife

Busy day or slow day: You get the rtu back up and running electrically, do you call it done? Or do some sort of delta t or pressures and temps? On busy days, i have called it done =X but trying to be better. Keep sharing, its nice to see other techs mental process.

You would olm the contactor out before changing it there could be a short somewhere else

if after changing the contactor.. the popper still pops.. then ... yes.. i would continue to look for a short.
