Notice how while they were in the car, Bilal tapped Shaeeda's leg to make sure she was looking him in the eye when he spoke to her, but when she did the same while talking about leaving NYC pregnant, he refused to look at her. He expects and demands respect from her so subtlety but doesn't give it back in the same way, it's always given me the creeps. He's the type of man who will purposely try to get with the meek just to feel big and strong. 😷

I doubt it. Bilal had a chance to not seem like the narcissist that he actually is but, he is what he is. He couldn’t even let her ask him questions because he’s soo fearful of criticism. And one more thing. The wife actually was being affected by something Shaeeda was doing. So while I don't like the way the wife acted at all, she at least had a reason to do it. I think Eutris is protective over Shaeeda simply because she's more reserved, a bit more agreeable and she's worried she may be taken advantage of. Although I do think Shaeeda can be assertive at times, maybe she's been taken advantage of by a guy before and Eutris tries to look out for her so that history doesn't repeat itself. Shaeeda could've told her things about Bilal and she probably trust Eutris's judgment.

Bilal is the kind of man who will treat your family and friends bad and distance you from them so eventually are left alone with him and he starts mistreating and controls you. He allows his ex wife to say whatever she wants but never give Shaheeda's friend to even ask one question. Narcissistic behaviour

Whether Bilal is "right" or not, she is Shaeeda's best friend and will be the first person she runs to for support when she's having relationship issues. After that conversation, what does he think her best friend will say and do next time Shaeeda needs her friend? She's gonna bad-mouth Bilal and encourage Shaeeda to leave him. Eutaris is the friend we all need 👏🏽 Bilal doesn’t want accountability that’s his issue. 💅🏼but I can understand she came in on 10 but he had no issues with his EX coming in on 15 though. Double standards much.

Poor Shaeeda stuck between her friend's masculine energy and her wack husband's wounded masculine energy. If I was near a table watching this I would be under it. Bilal is abusive and his engagement with Shaeeda makes my skin crawl. He definitely desires a partner who he can exert control and flex that condescension every chance he gets. Her friend was right to be concerned. His reluctance to have a baby may be the biggest blessing in their relationship. She deserves better.

My thing is Bilal clearly places himself around more meek and submissive individuals in order to assert his dominance. Individuals like Bilal think they’re soooo confident until they run into someone who challenges them and then they resort into a defensive bubble/shell which proves that they aren’t confident or secure at all. If he was truly the confident man he conveyed himself to be, he would have responded in a much cordial manner especially seeing it’s her literal bestfriend. He didn’t have to tell her anything he didn’t want her to know but there’s still a way of conducting conversations without being aggressive. Again, this was just my analysis of what happened. Everyone sees things differently. Also the bobbing head motion and a few of her mannerisms seemed to be ticks. She conveyed them even in private interviews and before she had even been introduced in the situation.

As the wife and friend I would expected her to assert some boundaries in that conversation or shut it down. It’s nice to have a ride or die friend but they are better with boundaries and when they are considerate of how their interactions impact you.

Agree. I'm surprised at how many people think Eutris's behavior is acceptable. She was hostile and rude, she was giving off a really weird energy. I think Bilal handled himself well considering how he was being treated.

A few thoughts… Angela didn’t see Michael for 2 years after marrying him. However made it a point to visit not out of love but to make him take his social media down. True love would not allow 2 years to go by while spending money on plastic surgery and veneers. 2nd thought, Bilal don’t care about making his wife happy bc he prefers the control over love. Her friend is giving crazy eyes. That interaction was so weird lol.

Shaeeda's friend was in the right here but the approach was wrong. BUT we can't really blame her. It's infuriating knowing your friend is choosing such an unsavory guy. Now thinking of about it, The friend should be sitting Shaeeda down and having a discussion on it's not too late to find a better husband.

I disagree. I normally can not stand this man but that friend came on wayyyy too strong . It’s probably not her fault ; sounds like Shaeeda told her nothing but bad stuff about him. Still though … who does that. It is not her place to act like a policeman interrogating Bilal.

Negative. Usually things start to go bad the more you try and please friends/family who are not in your relationship. We’ve seen it time and time again. Disrespect disguised as concern should not be tolerated by anybody. Her approach was aggressive and wrong. I understand her concerns but they are unwarranted considering they just met. & all of that still has nothing to do with the love he has for HIS wife.

Compromise is important, but to suggest that if a man truly loved his wife he would not treat the best friend like that.. is completely flawed mindset to have when in a relationship. I believe in this scene he matched the friends energy. Thats no indication of the lack of love he has for his wife, or any “man”.

Ok here's why .. he only married her to get regular "relations" with an attractive partner because he doesn't feel like wooing women to get some. So the answer is... He does not truly love her. Part two... Since he really does not truly love her, he's mistreating her by way of his nasty attitude with her friend because he's sick of being in conversations that he doesn't want to have. He's selfish and a user, or maybe that's just the role he plays for this series. They air it so we can watch and be happy that we're not them.. it's just like reading the "dirt sheets" at the grocery store magazine rack. You are entertained while appreciating your own life.

It's a hijab, not just a scarf. They're a part of her religious beliefs, not just for fashion. There's a huge difference between the two. So to be respectful to her you should refer to it correctly.

Man, if my BFF was married to someone like Bilal I would let him have it too. She knows how important a baby is to her friend, and he keeps f'ing with her.

I get she wanted to be protective but as a friend she should keep it cool with Bilal for Shaeeda’s sake. Shaeeda chose this man at the end of the day and wants them to get along so she should respect that and at least give Bilal a chance before getting all negative “we will see what I think about him”. As if Bilal was obligated to impress her 🙄 Edit: To everyone defending the friend: They’re not highschoolers anymore. They’re grown up adults, which means they make their own decisions about their partners. The healthy way to approach Bilal for Shaeeda’s friend would be to let her guards down, be respectful (since he’s her friend’s HUSBAND) and ask her questions respectfully. If she had then any concerns, speak to Shaeeda about them privately without causing all this drama at a table. If it was important for Shaeeda for her friend and Bilal to get to know each other and get along then the friend wasn’t a good friend by not even giving Bilal a chance. If she didn’t like Bilal from the start because she was a crying shoulder for Shaeeda then she should have warn her and refuse to meet him. Healthy boundaries are important in all relationships, including friendships. Besides Bilal is already Shaeeda’s husband, it’s not like Shaeeda is going to divorce him because her friend does not approve of him. She went as far as she could have in this relationship so her friend should have at least try to get to know him. There was a healthy way of approaching this situation and this drama of a teenage mentality wasn’t it.

No! Bc a real Friend speaks up and doesn't sit back allowing their friend to be mistreated right in front of them. Being a supportive friend means speak up. Shaeeda didn't seem like she was ready or needed to defend her man bc she knew her friend was defending her. Idk if they are best friends and that relationship runs deep I would take my best friend opinion about my love life seriously cause sometimes your best friend knows what you need for yourself better than you do. That is if they truly have a healthy friendship and aren't catty with each other behind each other back.

She understands her friend and her personality and knows people can try to take advantage of her kind of person, hence the interview. If Bilal wants to understand his wife better, he needs someone who will tell him things as it is.

Wow shaheeda has kind of a good friend, nowadays not all friends could step u for you like that and when she has a girl who can step up for her is amazing. I love Eutrice alot

I understand Eutris' reaction. More than likely Bilal could be abusive and Shaeeda is confiding in her best friend, who in return is hurting for Shaeeda. Eutris will dislike Bilal off the bat but try to be nice for the sake of her best friend, unfortunately she wouldn't be able to pretend to be nice.

all the friend said was that she wanted to ask questions about their marriage to get to know him better bc she hasn't gotten to know him before they were married. she didn't just come out and ask personal questions (like some of the other 90 day friends). he shuts down anything, i'm assuming bc he knows shaeeda vents to her, by saying their marriage doesn't include her... (which is true) but literally... she didn't get ONE question out🤦🏽‍♀️ why do people assume she's already already rude just cuz she's not a "bubbly" person? she could just be nervous bc she does not know him or she's on tv for the first time. a lot of people i know don't act like themselves when they're around a new person. he just came off insecure/close minded🤕

If you want to get to know someone, you ask about their job, their kids, where they grew up etc. You don’t start by asking them to discuss their marriage with you. That crosses a line. This woman didn’t want to get to know Bilal. She wanted to interrogate him and that’s not appropriate.

I don’t see anything wrong with that answer but she seemed to have a problem with it. She took an aggressive stance from the moment they sat down so I don’t blame Bilal for getting defensive. I know people who would have left the restaurant. Who wants to engage with someone who views them in a negative light.
