I mean you can’t really blame the guy who shot him. I knew when they started these pranks that it would end up with tragedy. You just can’t mess with some people and who wouldn’t want to protect themselves or their families? We all don’t know how we would’ve reacted because we’ve never been in this situation before. And even with that happening, I have still seen videos of people pranking people in stores.

Really don't see how these types of video/actions don't count as assault, trespassing, breaking and entering, robbery, etc. Saying "its just a joke. look... there is the camera." does not make it not real at the moment. remember, if you say "I have a gun" during a robbery, and it turns out to be a stick, or a pen, it's still a gun, in the eyes of the law, because the victim BELIEVED it was a gun.

The robbery pranks are robberies dusguised as pranks in case they get caught or someone fights back. For example the older gentlemen jogging through a park that was sucker punched from behind. The media ran cover for the knockout game but later it was discovered that he had a firearm and was robbing the guy with his buddy. Of course it wasnt tbe media that found this info other than a local news station.

That’s not a good enough reason. And frankly, your reasons for wanting to shoot the same guy is different. You’ll shoot someone because you’re annoyed. He shot someone because he thought he was going to be robbed. If you ever been robbed, you’ll know it does go like that sometimes.

@@bgtv9024 Well, either you misread my comment, or you added some things in your own brain, because that is absolutely NOT what i said. I said that i don't condone what he did. But, it was obvious that the man was fearing for his life/safety (rightly, or wrongly) therefore, I don't think he should have gone to prison. He should never be allowed to have a gun again, though. And i was once stalked and ambushed by two men when i was a naïve 15 year old girl, so DO NOT make assumptions.
